Clay Aiken's voice is just incredible! How come he was never discovered before?

I was thinking the same thing!!! I don't watch AI anymore, but turned it on just for this He sounded great and I can't wait to see him for the 2nd time in concert this summer

I'll definitely be buying his Christmas album!!!

He was on Letterman last night & I woke up to hear this guy holding on to this note and mumbled to my DH - "who's that?" When he said Clay Aikens - I said "why didn't you wake me up?!" Man - what a voice!

As talented as the current set of contestants are, none of them hold a candle to Clay.

That was the one good thing about tonight's show! I usually hate the hour results show, but I was looking forward to it just for Clay. He just proved again how amazing he is. I wish he would have sang by himself without the girls. It is so obvious that no one in the top 4 is nearly as talented as he is!

I also stopped watching AI but happen to catch the good and the bad tonight..... I love CLay But DOnna SUmmer and WHO Left the cake out in the Rain!!! OH I hated that song years ago and it was even worse tonight.

The best thing about Clay is that he is the biggest thing to come out of this competition and Simon Cowell totally called it wrong. You can tell he still doesn't get Clay's appeal. But Cowell wanted Ruben to win and he got what he wanted, but America obviously has made its choice and it ain't Ruben.

I just love seeing that a supposed experienced professional like Simon could get something so utterly wrong.
