Wrong final - should have been Jordin and Melinda for a great last show and a real competition - but the right winner.

At the moment, though, I'm feeling really hacked off. I've sat through this show week in, week out and tolerated Cat Deeley's simpering and whittering through gritted teeth. Why, oh why, couldn't we have been allowed to share in the celebration and euphoria? As soon as Jordin had finished singing, they cut to CAT FLIPPIN' DEELEY! Aaaaarrrrrrrrrrgh!

Doh, I knew I shouldnt have opened this yet, I dont watch it until the Sunday night, no matter,I really wasnt looking forward to that much as I thought Jordin and Melinda should have been in the final as well.

I will be watching this Sunday as we had a pirate fest last night, but I already knew Jordin had won after looking at a thread on the US community DIS, forgetting that they get to see it ahead of us. I'm so glad she won as I didn't see the appeal of Blake at all. My favourite was also Melinda. Cat deely was indeed a poor addition to the programme, it used to annoy us that she couldn't sit on a seat without sitting on her legs - in miniscule skirts and dresses, basically in an attempt to flash as much leg as possible. I'm amazed that she never flashed more than her legs! I imagine this was more popular with the male viewers, but I preferred it when we saw the show direct from the US, rather than the "British" cut down version!

I totally agree with you there Deb. I personally can't stand Cat Deeley.
The Americans don't have to look at her, so why do we?

She annoys me so much, and totally spoilt the show for me

I read that Cat Deeley was Simon Cowell's idea! Not one of his best was it?! Her inane whittering and constant finger-wringing became too annoying to watch.

I caught some of the show today, but when Melinda was eliminated I really lost interest.

I do think Jordin has something special but Melinda is incredible.
