American Idol Closing Dates?

Does anyone know when this attractions will close? We are going mid November.

I must be a little out of the loop.... Is GMR going down for a much needed content update or just regular rehab? And what is happening with AI? We didn't even go to AI on our trip this spring and only once on GMR. We like GMR but feel it desperately needs some scene updating.

I'm sure about American Idol closing read article somewhere but could not remember exact date. I'm less sure about Great Movie Ride but did read somewhere that it is expected to close to make room for Star Wars Land. It might just be a rumor although the tone of the article seemed pretty sure. If so it is way past time. The ride needs a definite overhaul or something. My aunt has never been on the ride so I am hoping it is still there in November when we go.

I haven't heard anything about GMR. I heard rumor about Indy closing.

I haven't heard anything about GMR closing either but I too have heard rumors of them closing Indiana Jones Show. We plan to hit it this trip just in case

I like Indy but closing that to make room for Star Wars land makes more sense than GMR. And GMR is a pretty important part of the old Hollywood theme of HS. I just think they need to update it some.

The American Idol Experience will be closing on January 5, 2015 I believe the date is. There are some rumors about Indiana Jones closing, but at this point, I haven't heard anything indicating that from sources close the situation.

On the other hand, The Great Movie Ride is not closing.

Thanks! I almost had a heart attack when I thought that Great Movie Ride was closing. I've always love that ride.
