Honeybee, back away from the cheapo creepo thread. The cheapos get a bit crazy about their "money saving" techniques. I've spent a bit of time on the budget board and I'm amazed at what some people will do to save a few bucks.

Haha....but it's SOOOO funny. Bringing extra hamburger buns to the park and buying a double burger?!? I've never heard of such a thing. to me, that is hilarious!

Things really got interesting after you left. Robin and I tied Kim C. and MJ's wife up in the bathroom, then we had tequila shots with DC and MJ. Later, we went back to Robin's place and listened to a few tunes..... on their ipods.

David A. was going to do a "meet and greet" type thing this Friday night and sing a few songs. It was just $1 per person with proceeds going to charity. Well now its cancelled because the American Idol people found out about it and said it "violated his contract". ::cop:

no kidding!
I can see sharing a meal. DH and I did that several times last trip. (it just meant we got to eat more often ) But cut the burger in 1/2 or get something that is easier to share...
I feel bad for their kids. My dad used to make us take popcorn in a brown paper bag to the drive in movies. Not such a big deal when we went with just him and my mom, but it was embarassing when we brought friends or worse went with friends and had to carry along a brown bag with greasy butter stains.
Oh well, I survived!

I have no clue why you can't just buy the burger and cut it in half for your kids to share. A half a burger can still hold plenty of condiments.
