Josh was also on Cheyenne together. They did a show in Dallas with Cheyenne, Jason thought Hoge was trying to hook up with her. Hoge was 26 and he was 15.

I don't have a link for the webcast because it was a live show that was being webcast.

I am still curious about what would have prompted this kind of reaction to Jason. That show was so long ago that you would think that it seems a long time to harbor a grudge over something like that. Jason Castro has said in interviews that the whole boyfriend/girlfriend thing was mostly manufactured by the producers of the Cheyenne show. I also think that Jason was 2 or 3 years older that 15 when he was on that show.

I don't know but I'm still suspicious about that statement. Maybe Hoge is jealous.

Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken, Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry (like him or not, he's very successful) and now...David Cook. That's proof he'll be huge . Well, in my own theory anyway

You'll recall that last week, Cook had 17 songs on the top 200 Hot Digital Songs chart, while Archie had 12. This week, most of them fell off. Cook has four songs remaining (topped by "Time Of My Life" at #4), while Archie has three (topped by "In This Moment" at #111). I wish both men more chart ups than downs over the years, though it may be good that they're learning early that you can't really have one without the other.

I agree! How can you stay on the charts when your music isn't for sale anymore? It would have been nice if the "reporter" mentioned that.

Yikes. We had some storms. We lucked out and just got heavy rain and small hail. but there were tornadoes nearby. As well as baseball and softball sized hail.

We went to my parents house in case of tornadoes. On the way home...we had to turn around because a section of road was flooded. In all the years of living here, I don't think I've ever seen this road flood. We only had a couple inches of rain. It was odd.

We lucked out and saw emergency flashers on cars stopped in the road so we stopped. Then we saw the water in the road. And then we saw some poor guy pushing his smoking El Camino out of the water.

What is with the FREAK-sized hail this summer? I saw a news report from the tornado near St. Paul a week or so ago where a reporter got pelted with hail and took cover in his car. After the storm let up he lifted up his shirt so we could see the welts on his back as a result of getting hit with the hail!

My dad in Minneapolis -- different storm, different day -- had hail last week. Sirens went off -- dad goes out to investigate (that's dad!) and on the way back into the house the hail starts and he gets hit with it too. He said it was the size of walnuts. And now he has damage to windows and screens and also the fans on his roof. He had a new roof put on 3 DAYS before this happened.

My sister in Indianapolis said they had hail the size of baseballs last Friday. They lost power and didn't get it back until Sunday morning.


WE even had hail here in Southern CA the same day we had a freaking TORNADO 15 miles from where I live. (Earthquakes? Ok. Mudslides? Fine. Fires? Yep. DIDN'T sign up for tornados too!!).

And then all the tornados in TN, GA, IA, CO, etc etc etc. It is a wacky year for weather!!
