Tonight at dinner, my relatives gave us an early housewarming gift. It's a Jim Shore figurine. It's a pineapple, which is a sign of welcoming or something along those lines. I'd never heard of Jim Shore until recently but I really love the pineapple. It looks like this...

It's about 10 inches high. It's made of stone resin according to the website. I'm dumb and don't know what that is. It feels like wood to me. But anyway...I really love it! I went to www.jimshore.com and he has a lot of neat stuff...including Disney stuff.

I also stumbled upon this castle...but there were only limited quantities and it was for a special event. Still really neat though!

I have two of his Mickey Santa figurines. I'm trying to collect one each year. I love his Disney stuff. (Big surprise, I know.)

My friend called at 7:45 this morning to tell me they were about to be on. My DH was wondering why she was calling so early. He rolled his eyes when I told him why. Sadly, I was still asleep and missed the Today show. I'll have to YouTube it.
