American Horror Story - Season 6, Anyone?

So, even after I swore off AHS after seasons 3,4, and 5 , I'll be watching the premier of AHS 6 tonight. Anyone else giving this season a shot?

I have it set to record but not sure I will continue if the first episode is as bad as the first episode of last season. I enjoyed all the seasons before that one though. Any idea what this season is about? DirecTV doesn't have any information about it.

There's a lot of theories out there. I think the leading theory is "The Mist", I guess based on Stephen Kings work.

I just hope, hope, hope, it isn't anything like the last three. Especially the last one. But for some reason, I'm giving it a shot. We will see what happens.

I'm so excited for it. It's surprising to see how many people didn't like last season. I didn't want to watch another season after the first one. I only watched again at freak show and that's my favourite season. Last year was different but not bad...I really don't get the hate.

Murphy is being sneaky this year, and hasn't told us what the theme for this season is.
I have watched every episode, so this will be no different I am sure. Even though I hated every episode of season 3, I still watched the whole thing. Not really sure why.
I didn't think last season was that bad. There were parts of it I didn't care for at all, but overall it wasn't bad.

We watched the first episode of 5 and couldn't stand the thought of watching anymore. Disliked 4 (aside from Dandy and Twisty) but powered through. LOVED 1, 2, & 3. We are DVRing tonight's pilot but aren't holding our breath. HOPING that they realized why there was a drop in viewership and got back to the vibe from earlier seasons.

Good thing I read this, I didn't think it was starting yet.
DVR is now set up.
I liked some seasons and not others.

Loved season 1 and quite enjoyed season 2 at the mental home. Season with witches was ok. Didn't love the freak show one as much. Last year had potential but it didn't need to be so sexual. I was almost uncomfortable with some scenes.
But giving this year a chance. Have PVR set to record.

I have watched every season religiously... some are better than others. I'm hoping this one isn't a disappointment, especially after they made such a big deal about the season being a mystery until the first episode.

I have seen several theories about the theme. One is Charles Manson, another is about the Roanoke Colony and I read another that said each episode is a different story, that it won't be a whole season of one story.

I loved season 1 and liked 2 and 3. Hated 4 and haven't seen 5. If its on Netflix I will watch it eventually. I will watch 6 but I can't tonight.

I have it set to record. I have watched all seasons, and like other people, I liked some seasons more than others. I'm open to see how this season is, but if after a couple of episodes, I don't like it, I am not going to watch it.

The last 2 seasons have turned me off to this show. Freak Show was just disturbing and I am not easily disturbed and then last season was just too awful for words.

Coven was the only season I have yet to finish because I haven't found it as interesting as Asylum or Murder House. And I LOVED Freak Show. I did not think I would love it as much as I did. I have yet to watch Hotel (living in the Bahamas means Caribbean Netflix which doesn't have it and probably won't until the spring -_-). Since we are staying by my in-laws I am not able to see the premiere, so if anyone has a good streaming website they would like to recommend me so I can watch it, by all means share

I liked the first season very much, asylum and freak show, too. Last season the beginning was so bad (seriously no more a#%l rape!), but it got better! I thought Lady Gaga was really good, but I fell in love with Liz Taylor! Such an awesome character and so weird how my view of that character changed over the episodes. She ended up an amazing woman by the end. So emotional.

I really liked it and an excited to watch more. I thought the whole thing was great. Of course, I watch a few of those haunting shows that set up just like that. I think that's why I liked it so much.

I thought it was kind of boring. I'll watch next week to see, but if it's more of the same I'm not sure i'll continue. If they're going with Roanoke theme, which it appears they may given the title of the "show within the show", that may give me a bit more hope. But if it's just going to be short stories like this every week, not so much. Hopefully they'll at least finish this story next week.
