American Horror Story - Season 6, Anyone?

I have been enjoying this season, way more than the last few years. I like the format. But, Ryan Murphy had to throw in his sex for no reason scene finally in episode three. I guess I knew it had to be coming, but it would be nice if he could tell a story without it for a change. I am curious to see how the season goes from here. If they keep them short stories, that might be kind of interesting.
Has anyone seen Evan Peters? His name has been in the credits, but I haven't been able to find him.

You're right, he was in the credits this past episode. It's hard to see people when you don't know until the end of they were in the episode or not lol

I'm loving this season..the past three have been awesome.

He's actually been in the credits for all 3 but I couldn't find him. Unless he is super disguised as one of the hillbillys. He has always been my favorite but I hated the way he played his character last season so I was hoping for a better one this year.

I read a few sites to see who he is playing and, apparently he hasn't shown up yet. I hope Finn shows up soon too..

I didn't think he had. I was just wondering why they keep putting his name there. Although I keep seeing Cheyenne Jackson and haven't seen him yet either. Have the had Finn in the credits?

No, Finn hasn't been in an episode yet but my daughter and I saw a creepy trailer, before this season started, where someone (pretty sure it was Finn) was stapling a bald head (think it was Dennis O'Hare) and saying now try to keep it dry..

ETA- found it

Any one have an idea of what the "twist" will be this year? I'm hoping they get to it sooner than later. I don't want another 1-2 episodes of just random things happening like what we watched last week.

A lot of the AHS promos have nothin' to do with nothin', unfortunately. I agree that it sounds like Dennis O'Hare and Finn Wintrock, but there's no way to know if it means anything other than "another season of your favorite creepy show is coming".

Episode 4 not much of an upswing. Kind of feel like it is slogging along. Definitely not the smartest protagonists we have had....I'm really intrigued about this twist. Hope it pays off, or I'll be out after 6 episodes. Pretty much where I left Coven.

Yeah, I'm losing patience, too. The storylines are very muddled, I can't understand half of what the characters say, and I'm sick of all the pigs. I'm sorry, but if the professor tells them that the dead people can only kill during that one, 6-day period, why would you stick around? Why not check into a hotel? (just not last season's hotel...). And if they can only kill then, who killed Flora's dad? Was the professor really alive--he looked the same age as in the old videotapes! I don't know, the whole thing is a mess, and not in an interesting way. Also, I'm tired of the gratuitous sex, and find Lady Gaga irritating every time she's on screen.

Stick around, maybe I'll tell you what I really think, ha ha.

I'm really liking this season. To help with the dialogue, I turn on the captions. I don't see how they can keep this storyline going for a whole season..it kind of seems like it's already wrapped up.

Like you, I was thinking that the professor was a ghost because he did seem like he was the same age as in the video.

I'm liking this season a lot too! The change in format is working for me.

I'm wondering if the shift of the show that's coming up will tell the same story from the other side? Like from the colonist's perspective with Matt and Shelby as the intruders? I don't know. Or if it will just show us a different Roanoke nightmare? It's supposed to be some kind of big deal, but when I get too excited about a supposed big reveal, I'm usually disappointed, LOL! I read a theory that the episodes are all mirroring the sixth episode of the other seasons, like episode one mirrored season one episode six, episode two mirrored season two episode six, etc...It's fun to guess and speculate.

And I have to say...I LOVEEEE Leslie Jordan, and I wish he was always around!

Noticed the mention of the Mott family in the last episode, too!

I agree! I love his character too. I only know him from Will & Grace lol

The Mott family was mentioned? If I noticed, it slipped right over my head. I'm too busy scanning all the faces to see if Finn is there <3

Yes! The Elias guy said it when he was talking about the past residents of the house. He said Edward Mott was the first person to live in the house in the 17th century.
I thought that's what he said, but wasn't sure, and made DH rewind it! Actually, I shouted, "Dandy! Dandy was a Mott! Rewind it!" :rotfl2:
Dandy is my favorite character on any season of the show. I got excited, lol!!

One of my favorite things Leslie Jordan was in is a movie called Sordid Lives. It's based off a stage play. It's not going to be to everyone's taste, but it's hilarious!
He's one of those actors that seems to pop up in all kinds of things. My kids know him from KC Undercover.

I hear you. I will say this season is far better than last year's attempt. But it's just at a stalemate now. Hopefully we advance a little this week! The grossness and sexuality doesn't move the needle for me in terms of horror. I understand its an integral part of the genre, but for me, there also needs to be some tension, some intrigue, and something legitimately scary. A wood nymph wearing a goat hat, and an upset colony tribe don't meet that last test. The creepy nurse sisters did. Hoping for more creepy nurses and less romantic Gaga scenes. Let's see what we get.

Agree with both!! That's why the first episode was so great, it was creepy and spooky and had neither of those things! I love Gaga, but I wish he would quit writing here as the kinky sex queen.

Another thing that bugs me is Kathy Bates' character killing so many people off. First, I find it strains credulity that a man would leave his wife in charge of a colony in the 16th century--it's MUCH more likely that he would leave a man in charge, fair or not. Secondly, if you're living in a tiny colony, facing so many uncertainties--why would you start killing people off? I can even sort-of understand doing a human sacrifice, if you truly thought you needed to appease the gods--it would be the ultimate gift, in that scenario. But, just killing people who don't agree with you--a couple dozen strong, healthy adults--all that does is make your colony smaller and more vulnerable. And even if they're currently enjoying a time of bounty--that can change in a heartbeat, and they know that. Better to suck it up, even if you think you're stuck in a colony with the world's biggest idiots, until such a time as you can survive without them.
