You guys are funny, I myself wanted to get one recently. I wanted to get Julie also (bc she represents my era) and also Felicity bc she is being dc'd. I really loved the older historic ones, Felicity I had gotten for nieces when they were little and now I want one. Also Samantha who is now gone. They do make little ones now which I was going to buy myself. Glad to know I'm not the only one!![]()

Yes I can see thisnis going to be addictive I have already found Disney dresses. For the dolls on eBay![]()

The "My Disney Girl" dresses fit AG dolls fairly well. www.etsy.com is also a great place to find lots of Disney outfits.![]()
I just went on ebay and almost died at the price my doll is going for! I got Samantha on my 12th birthday!!! I love her!!!![]()

In reality, Elizabeth lives in my Dds room along with Felicity, Lanie, and Ann (the Williamsburg Madam Alexander version of an AG doll that Santa brought the year before Felicity).
I just can't drag myself of the AG website! I have purchased one for my DD and now I want Julie! Do any of you adults collect these dolls or am I just going crazy!![]()
Technically, Elizabeth is mine and Felicity is my daughters. A friend sent her to me last year after christmas so I would have a doll tooIn reality, Elizabeth lives in my Dds room along with Felicity, Lanie, and Ann (the Williamsburg Madam Alexander version of an AG doll that Santa brought the year before Felicity).
Yesterday I was handed the doll's Christmas lists. It tickled me that my DD had managed to do different writing for each of them.(And I want Julie too! I *had* those clothes when I was growing up!)
I might one day. i don't think you are silly at all.![]()

Prices are always very high (inflated) for AG stuff this time of year. People are trying to get good deals for Christmas and are buying for those little girls who suddenly decided that they *have* to have a Samantha doll. Back in June I snagged a Samantha labeled as a regular AG with brown hair and eyes for $30.
The summer is usually the best time to find deals on ebay, but if you are really after something, you need to look often because you never know when someone will list it as a crazy good buy it now deal.
This is horrible but, when I bought my daughter her first AG one of the main reasons I got her Julie was because I loved all her accessories and wanted to play with them. My DD looks like Julie so that factored as well, but that tape recorder and record player! I had to have them. I think I was more excited than she was.
I love that website too. I have to just walk away though. My shoe budget would be adversely affected if I lingered there too long.
I would like Julie too, but just can't justify the cost for something that will just sit around and need dusting. O' well.![]()

I won't pay full price for a $17.99 dress for one of my DDs at Target... I wait for it to go on sale for $14.99. Yet I barely hesitated before buying the $34 ice skating outfit for a doll. My reasoning is that the doll won't outgrow the dress, whereas my DD will only wear it a few times this season.
