I have a question and I figured if anyone could answer it DISer's would know! For mother's day and father's day my parents are going to see a show and I booked them a room at the Ritz Carlton Boston. I booked it with breakfast included and it says "American Breakfast." Now I know what a continental breakfast is, but what is an American breakfast? I welcome any opinions on the hotel too!

Thanks so much!

Elena

I think an American breakfast usually consists of eggs, breakfast meat (bacon), potatoes, toast and a drink. At least that is what I have usually encountered.

whatever it is it is probably too large of a portion, and not healthy, but who cares eat away and enjoy.

We just stayed there in April & I had breakfast there the 1st morning. I'm pretty sure the "American" was eggs, toast, bacon, potatoes, OJ, and coffee

True, but if you really want to clog an artery, try a Full English Breakfast!

Probably like the basic diner breakfast...eggs, meat, potatoes, coffe/tea, juice.
