I am a very nervous flyer and wondered what AA are like, the route we are looking at is LHR to Miami

we have only ever flown with virgin and thomas cook before so have no idea about the other airlines:confused3

what are the cabin crew like inflight entertainment etc on AA

thanks in advance :goodvibes

We flew with AA last April from Manchester to Chicargo then across to Miami and it was fine entertainment was tvs in the isles food was pretty decent and if memory serves me right all drinks where free :)

I've only ever flown with Virgin once before and that was last sept again from manchester to MCO and wasnt keen other than the fact they fly direct to MCO.

We were very impressed with our AA flights (Heathrow to Chicago, then Chicago down to Tampa return).

We thought they were better than VA (and we've flown over 40 flights with VA!).

In economy, more legroom and seat width, the cabin crew whilst slightly on the more mature side were so much more helpful and pleasant, the food was better (especially the pizza snack:cloud9:). The only slight downside was the entertainment system wasn't as soon as the new VA one - there was a loop of films, but sufficient for me since I tend to only watch and couple and then listen to my iPod.

We would not hesitate to fly American again.
