American Airlines Miles and Disney Vacation Pkg.

Just wanted to know if anyone has reedemed their airline miles for one of these packages. We have a ton of miles and I am thinking of possibly using them for this. Looking for some feedback. Did you get the flight times you wanted, did you get your room request at the resort etc. Was this a good value for your miles versus just redeeming them for airline tickets etc. TIA.

you may get more responses over on the transportation board... i've only flown american once and did not even sign up for miles, so i am basically clueless! sorry!

Probably would be worth it, if you are not using your miles for anything else. Don't let them go to waste.
I have not used miles for vacations, but only free flights, because I have not had enough miles
But generally even with my 10% discount on AA vacations, I found that I could not get as good of a deal as with booking a flight and then getting a room or package discount elsewhere.
