Amenties Available to Renters

This is our first time at Kidani. We are renting DVC points to stay. What amenties are we allowed to have if we are renters. Can we use the community room and fitness center? Or is the fitness center even open? Any helpful hints are appreciated.

Fitness center is available to all guests of the resort...believe they are open,

I am really not sure fyou can use the community room but It’s been years since we did and I can’t remember if I had to show my card, I know I did for the DVD rental.

Pretty much anything that requires a card, like pool hopping, etc. would not count for you as a renter.

I know we have used the community room before covid 19 and did not have to show our DVC card.
You may have to sign in or show your room card.(not sure if contact tracing is being done).

All DVD rentals at the gift shop require a DVC card

Rental equipment usually requires a DVC card or credit card hold. (Basketball).

Looks like no campfires/smores are being done.

Socially spaced out movies under the stars is still happening.

Merchandise dressing rooms not available.

Playgrounds closed.

No DVC card needed to use the Fitness center,,,but again I am not sure all the Fitness center amenities will be open (sauna,change rooms massage room). I've only used the Fitness center at Jambo house and I'm not sure Kidani has one ????

Ah it looks like the do have a fitness center,,use Magic Band to enter.

You would be able to access any amenity available to cash guests, but not any DVC perk that requires a Membership card. The only exception is overnight parking. Anyone whose stay is booked with points does not pay for resort overnight parking.

We stayed on rented points at OKW a few weeks ago and borrowed several DVDs and we weren't members at that point.
