Amazon Prime Now - -Yacht Club

We checked into the Yacht Club today, June 19. Yesterday I placed an order with Amazon Prime Now for delivery this morning and received confirmation of that delivery by email, along with verbal confirmation from Amazon and the delivery driver. The problem is no one can find the order here. I have had a hard time getting the staff to understand it was not a delivery from UPS, FedEx, or USPS. I mention this as staff says those deliveries go to the business center.

Anyone have experience with Amazon Prime Now to the Yacht Club and thoughts?

I am having the same problem at Port Orleans Riverside. My package was delivered on Thursday but it is nowhere to be found. They don't understand that there isn't a tracking number since it was a local delivery. I did call Amazon yesterday morning. They did refund my money since the package hasn't been found, but YMMV on that. Worth a shot but it doesn't solve the problem of having the items you need.

I have talked to Amazon and they have been great - - contacted delivery driver, etc. and very quick to offer refund. I will give it another try this morning. As a side note I ordered water from Turner Drugs for our last trip at Pop and had no issues.

My understanding that anything delivered to a convention resort with a mail center (like Yacht & Beach) by any mailing method other than United States Postal Service will be delivered to the convention center instead of the front desk. This is not ideal for a number of reasons- the item is subject to a handling fee based on the weight of the delivery and you have to pick it up yourself during the limited hours that the convention center is open.

Someone on another thread has issues at one of the All Star resorts. Turns out the delivery was made to another All Star Resort's bell services. If it's not at YC, maybe check BC's bell services? It's like receiving a garden grocery delivery, so I would think that's where it ends up!

Does this apply to grocery services? Prime Now is not prime pantry, it's more like garden grocer.

OK, I was not familiar with this service and yes, I was equating it with prime pantry. Are the deliveries made by people who live near Disney?

Shopping service deliveries, like Garden Grocer or We Go Shop are delivered to Bell Services at Yacht & Beach Club. I will be interested to hear how well Prime Now works at the resorts.

Update : I spoke to a front desk supervisor this morning and within one minute our order was found at bell services in our hotel. Why the five people I talked to yesterday couldn't find it, who knows

The supervisor did say the Amazon Prime Now drivers are not approved vendors with Disney yet and that is causing confusion. This service utilizes their own delivery drivers. Prices were very good.

Glad they found your order!

It was my understanding that Prime Now delivers solely to bell services, just like garden grocer does.

I may use it for water next trip if we don't use Prime Pantry. Since we have a QSDP that's all we'll need really!

Glad it worked out, albeit with some inconvenience. Let's hope the front desk supervisor that helped you brings this up at the next manager's meeting, Amazon delivery folks and Disney CMs need to get on the same page. I think there are so many rules & procedures at WDW, and an army of CMs, it's difficult to get the word out to everyone.
