Amazon Prime Day?

pretty disappointing for sure, except for the Kindle Fire HD 7, I bought mine at the same price back at the end of April, it was a one day sale.

I'm not finding the TVs everyone was talking about. I saw a link from another website stating the time they were supposed to be active, but so far nothing.

I got the 3 $15 gift card deal, the 60% off wipes, and $20 off $100 purchase using the Amazon Visa card. I had some stuff in my cart that I was waiting to buy for awhile where the prices are pretty constant, so I spent the $100 and got $20 off. That was definitely worth it. But otherwise, the actual markdown of prices is not impressing me at all.

Just got the eBags Piazza Day Bag I've been eyeing for a while for $27. Plan to use it for our trip next month. It's $35 on eBags and no free shipping so I'm happy.

What a bunch of junk (like always) for Lightning Deals. Well, I guess it's not all junk...just not what I'm in the market for. The prices on a lot of items aren't discounted very much but I expected that. For those in the market for a Kindle Fire, that's a pretty good buy. :)

I used the Amazon app this morning to look at some of the deals and nowhere did it mention the $10 Amazon credit for gift card multi-packs so I missed out on that. :( I don't want to spend $75 on gift cards right now which is the smallest bundle they have left now.

We were hoping for a cheap digital camera (like the Nikon Coolpix...only not pink) for our Disney trip, maybe some better toy deals thinking ahead for Christmas and birthdays, and I would have liked to see more kitchen deals. Oh well!

I always find their Black Friday sales to be hit or miss and am finding the same today. I did get a pair of FitFlops for $35, which I have been eyeing, and an extra charger for my phone for $12.50. But I am at work and can't sit on the site all day. I popped on during lunch and found those 2. Unless you can sit on the site all day is it work it? And would you find anything?

Very disappointed as well. Most of it is random stuff they marked way up so that they could put a bigger % off when they bring it down to its normal price. Anything that is on sale is either something they've put on sale multiple times in the past, or have so little for sale it sells out within seconds. A waste of my time and I'm a bit annoyed with Amazon for hyping it so much, especially with how fast the fire stick sold out.

Depends on what you are looking for-we do fundraising and always looking for upper level prizes-got a couple Kindle Fire (one is actually for me so I don't drag my ipad everywhere) and a bunch of lower end cameras we normally spend $40 each on for $25 (they actually take decent shots and are fairly sturdy-obviously not pro quality but perfect for kids)

I didn't expect too much from the sales. Amazon's Black Friday last year was a disappointment compares to a few years back. However, I did pick up the gift card deal, the fire stick and other little things.

I also wanted a Kindle Paperwhite--well....

How do you get 60% off wipes?

managed to snag a lightening deal on Bluetooth speaker, waitlisted to get the extra $5 off for the lightening deal. paid 19.99 for $99.99 regular price

I missed the camera that I really wanted, but got Fiestaware knife set, squirrel proof bird feeder and a king sized headboard (I know, crazy, but I've been wanting one...).

Not as many books/dvds on special as what I hoped there would be...

I finally bit the bullet and bought a Kindle Fire for my classroom. I missed the 7, so I got the 6, but honestly, I feel like I have seen that $79.99 price before when I was considering it. I considered getting two but I also got the warranty (first graders.... thought it might come in handy) and a case, so two would totally wipe out my budget from the PTA for reimbursement for the year. I have been thinking about it for a while. I just have two desk tops, no iPads or anything and the Kindle Fire is so much cheaper than an iPad. I just want it for a few spelling/sight word/math fact apps that I think would be engaging and fun- both for enrichment and remediation purposes. Ideally I would love 4-6, but i figure I will start with one, make sure it will work for us and maybe buy another with my Fun Run money in the spring.

My DD'S have been able to get several things for their classrooms (including Kindle Fire, Otterbox, manipulatives, social stories, pencil grips...)funded with Donors Choose.

Big disappointment. I'm SO glad I decided not to stay up all night for what was, IMHO, underwhelming crap.

We have prime on DHs account so I went to look. There's something I need but once I put it in the cart, it said its an add-on item that ships with $25+ purchase, and I couldn't find a way to order it. Are they really not letting you buy stuff anymore without filling your cart? I thought prime gets you free shipping on everything. I'd even use my account and pay to ship it it doesn't look like it will let me order there either.
