Amazon or Apple who has the best holiday commercial

Lurking here... years ago there would be a thread about Apple's holiday commercial, but having just watched TV The Voice...I am now convinced that Amazon commercial... What the world needs now is much better than Apple commercial...or is just me that crys when he is on stage

Honestly there are some commercials on TV now from various companies where I have NO idea what the back-story is. We were watching TV at a relatives house on Thanksgiving and they made the same comment. One is for some SUV and the four people are dressed in strange costumes and then drive off into the woods. No idea why, maybe related to some popular TV show or movie? Another is for some brand of imported butter and a table seems to appear in various shots, no idea why...........LOL. Always thought Budweiser had the best Christmas commercials.

The one with the guy who is janitor singing we all thought was an example of 'what does that have to do with Amazon?'

Honestly...I haven't seen anything from either of them that really got me, but Kroger has been hitting us with heartwarming tearjerkers for 2 years in a row now. This year's says 30, so it's possible I missed the earlier ones...or they didn't hit quite like these have.

Beyond that, the Capital One commercial with John Travolta as Saturday Night Fever Santa that started airing last year is another fave of mine.

CBS just showed the full length Amazon commercial....I guess they were trying to get "break room "buzz about the story in bits and now it's a full length story. Anyhow our tiny town TV station shows many non-profit commercials and there is a Dogsinc Christmas commercial
