Amazon Multiple Payments

Anyone know how to use multiple payment options for an Amazon order?

I'd like to use a Visa Gift Card for part of an order (there's not enough on the card for the whole order), and Paypal for the remainder.

I don't think you can do this.

I know when you use a partial gift card in a brick and mortar store - you have to tell them (example) to key in $12.59 and then a balance will show. I don't think there is a way to do this on Amazon. (Of course, Amazon keeps a running total of their own gift card balances.)

I'm sure if there is a way, someone will come along and set me straight.

If there is a gift card registered, I think it gets hit first and then you are asked for an additional payment.

You can try to add it as a new payment method. You could also go to the Help page and click Contact Us, you can have them call you and see if they can do the payment over the phone. They can call you anytime and will call immediately if you want.

The only way I've figured out how is to use the VISA gift card to buy an Amazon gift card. Then apply the amazon card to your account and pay for the rest with your other payment method. I don't believe there's any other way to do a split pay.

Thanks all. Ended getting the item (Wii Fit Plus) from Target. Had two gift cards and paid the remainder on my debit.

Still, that was a great deal... ~22% off retail
