Has anyone sold anything on amazon and how did you do. It is something you would recommend

Hi, Are you asking about Amazon auctions or Amazon marketplace? I sell most of my items on ebay, but also list in the Amazon marketplace because it is so easy. One thing I like about Amazon is that I don't have to create any ads. All the product information is already there. All I need to do is list the condition and the price. Very simple. After someone make a purchase, you must ship within 2 business days. One thing I don't like is that the credit Amazon gives you for shipping is LOW. Definitely costs more to send than they give, so I just list my item a little higher to compensate. To me, Amazon is no risk selling (at least in the marketplace) because there are no listing fees. Hope this information helps.

I have sold about 30 items in the past month and I am very please with them! I wish I could sell everything I need to get rid of through them!

A friend sold a bunch of her old text books for some decent cash last year. Way more than she would have got at the college book stores.

I sold probobly 20 items on Amazon Marketplace. And I was VERY PLEASED with the outcome, in less than 2 weeks I had made over $$200!!! * *
I would reccomend it!

School books/text books were great sellers for us as well. As they sold for a good amount of money. But I also sold alot of adult books and games as well.

Is this different than half.com? If so, I think I need to check it out (my half.com sales have stalled out!).

ETA - duh, half.com is run by ebay....so yeah, it's probably different.
