Why?

There was enough stuff to keep me going till the next season in February. The people from Survivor and TAR are making the radio interview rounds now. I heard Danni the other day and she was her usual awesome (IMO) self. Anybody heard any of the TAR folks on local radio?
The Gaghans live near me but I haven't heard any interviews yet. I'm interested in hearing what they have to say. They were a great team and if the mom had just found that bean quicker...

Tell me about it. I was near tears seeing the team with the best attitude taken out by such a stupid, random, challenge. Made even worse by all the teams that only made it to that point because of the equalizers.

The bean task may have been ok if they didn't go right to the pit stop after that. So, that whole leg of the race was just pure dumb luck. Why not make them draw straws.

Someone commented that during the last "golf cart altercation" with the Weavers' that one of the Linz boys called one of the Weaver girls "thunder thighs", but I thought it was Rolly who said that, and then one of the Linz's responded with "Rolly Poly".

It was definitely Rolly who said "thunder thighs" to the Linz kids. One of the Linz kids then responded with "Rolly Poly"

Let's hope they don't forget my favorite team next season: "Dating/Virgins". Not because they were, but strictly due to the number of times CBS flashed it.

Oh that drove me nuts! That was so ridiculous. Who goes around announcing their status to everyone. Seriously, would they describe a couple as "Dating/Met at the Mile High Club"? I doubt it.

I can't believe he said that then the Weaver mother had the nerve to comment about the Linz team name calling! I would love to run into her on the street some day.

Same kind of people that would ask a convenience store clerk if he has found Jesus.

The stadium would not have been a catching up point if the Weavers weren't so imcompetent. If they had found the door and had a strategy to their search they would have remained in the lead. It's not as if it were one of those places where everyone has to wait until a certain time for it to open.

BUT it WAS one of those places...it might as well have been a place that didn't open 'cause everyone still had to wait for their flight in the a.m. they were pretty much on equal ground w/in a few minutes....

They didn't get kicked out, they lost fairly. This race was designed so that the teams with kids would NOT be at a disadvantage and they weren't.

I CAN"T agree here - just running the race, literally against adults the kids were at a disadvantage. I don't know any kiddos those ages that could outrun the LInz's...they just aren't fast enough period.

I can't resist---the little Gaghan girl easily outran a bunch of adults. They lost b/c of a challenge of chance.

There are teens out there who could whip my hiney in running.

Out of curiousity--do you feel just as sad when the senior couples, the overweight out of shape partners---can't keep up physically?

Your statement would have merit if the adult teams were pitted against a family of 4 children with no adults. The children weren't competing alone and their size actually was advantageous for a few challenges--namely the amish cart pulling and the mudding challenges.
