right now on NY CBS News they are showing the Linzs and doing an interview

Edited to add, they said they are giving their parents half the million and splitting the rest between all the siblings (there are 7 of them all together)

Did you see the Weavers in the background? They looked so mad. They could have at least clapped or something. Sheesh

I knew who would win pretty much because I read a spoiler someone posted on this thread way back in the beginning, I asked them to remove it, but too late...I had already seen it...which stunk because I made a promise to myself not to read spoilers....I didn't do it on purpose LOL

Next season....Im going to try again to not read any spoilers!

I read the spoiler too. I couldn't help it I had to peek. But I still enjoyed watching it anyway.

LOL I had to rewind my TIVO to see it because I was typing on here when they showed it, and it was too funny!!
Everyone else was clapping and the Weavers were just sitting there with the mad looks.

The worst part for me was I didn't even have to look, someone posted it on here and I was just reading a new post and there it was.

I just want to mention that I'm a proud Canadian - I've lived all over this great big country but I've never ever heard of log rolling as a favourite Canadian sport! I've never heard of log rolling period. I was LMAO when I saw that! It should have been curling and hockey - now that's Canadian!

I agree now I have seen lumber jack games on TSN but never log rolling it has always been log climbing and chopping and other forms of cutting never rolling. Curling and Hocey would have been best. I loved the comment by teh one guy on the Linz team when I get bac to Ohio I am building a curling rink LOL. Well I can't wait for Feb for the next TAR to start back to the original format I can't wait.

I'm so happy. Yeah Linz family! I, too, was crying when the teams were talking about their families, especially when Wally talked about his girls.

Tonight was pretty intense but I'll be glad when the next AR starts. It looks like they started at Red Rocks right outside Denver.

What a great ending. I was hoping they would show the Weavers trying to put that puzzle together! Since one of the girls didn't even know PA was a state it would have been funny to watch.
I think it's one of the first times that no one hugged the last team to get up on teh stand.

I hope the Weavers win. I can't stand the Linz family. I think that all the negative comments by the Linz' towards the Weavers is base jealousy. The Weavers seem to be unstoppable.

The Weavers kept calling all the team's names! And when everything was cool with them, they were "oh Lord" and "oh Jesus" and when the other teams were near them, the were "oh I hate this".
Come ON! Glad the didn't win.

I know. I can't believe they were going to just give up like that and call the task stupid. Poor sports IMO.

Bcs they were not doing good it was stupid, that kid was the only smart one tonight.

I've been watching this terrible show for weeks just so I could see my hometown. I couldn't believe how whiny the Weavers were when things didn't go their way. Blah, blah, blah, it's not fair . Being slow and having the other teams catch up isn't unfair! I'd hate to see them do one of the usual Amazing Race tasks like navigating a market in Calcutta.

I loved the ending though! The Linz's remind me a lot of some of my friends. Plus, I got to see my old apartment building when the Weavers were in the cab downtown

Who else is THRILLED that the new season begins in FEB with two person teams? I AM!!! I was ecstatic when I saw the clip of Mount Fuji. I've always wanted TAR to go to Japan.

I didn't get to see it last night, but have it taped. I came here to get the official results!!! I am so glad the Weavers didn't win!!! I can now watch it and enjoy!! I still wonder if there will be any mud slinging in the press between the Weavers and any of the others now that it's over. If they really looked that mad when they didn't win, then that is totally classless. Can't say it surprises me though.

That's great if they showed Mount Fiji for the next AR. I'll look forward to that beginning!

Glad to see the Linz Family win - enjoyed the interaction between them.......BUT would have been just as happy to see the Branson family win!!! Weavers - what poor poor sports.......hope the girls were able to get their hair done (didn't one of them talk about wanting to go home to get the hair done).

I am watching the Early Show, the Linz family are there to get their check!

So happy they won, I liked the Branson's too, but the weavers NO WAY, talking about class, the have no class at all.

Can't wait to see the Linz on live TV.
