I'm happy C&K won! But, I was disappointed that Chip out and out lied to B&N. That didn't seem to be in his character at all, and it didn't help them one bit. It was exciting down to the very end. I'm hoping to catch C&K on CBS This Morning. Bring on AR6!!!

I think they pushed the date back a few weeks again.

I also read that CBS wants to try to move AR6 from it's currently scheduled Saturday slot to Tuesday, since AR5 did so well in it's Tuesday slot. The delay gives them time to see if any new shows are struggling, and available to be shuffled around to make way for AR6.

I just read on CBS's website about Colin & Christie - that they planned on marrying right after the race, if they made it through the race togther! Is she crazy?

I have been cheering for Chip & Kim for a long while now. I am happier that C&C did NOT win though. And B&N were getting out of control with Jesus wanting them to win. I think Jesus has bigger issues to deal with than a contest!

They are all on CBS right now...

And evil Colin just proposed. I am off to be sick...

WHAT? DId he propose on national tv??? ohhh geez. I can't stand him. I am so happy they didnt win you have no idea. I hope they keep the show on tuesday nights instead of going to saturdays.

I'm glad Chip and Kim won - even though Kim was just a piece of luggage Chip had to carry around the world.

C/C - Colin was trying to do everything he could to win - can't hold that against him but if they get married I'd say unless they grow up and learn how to control their emotions it's not going to work.

Brandon/Nicole - when she had the 3 year old melt down on the snow slope his best move would have been to walk away right there. Granted she's been traveling and under game pressure but to have that type of meltdown - wow, what you gonna do when life throws something at you.

I had to keep reminding my wife that the show is edited - although it may seem C/C were on Chip/Kim's heels - it may have been a good 20-25 minutes they were ahead.

Maybe this has been mentioned before - but do teams get money for where they place (like Survivor)? I sure hope so!

I really think that people need to take into perspective how much editing is done on these shows! They have 20+ hours of tape a day of every couple and they edit a few days down into a 45 minute show (allowing for commercials). For good TV, they have to edit the pairs into stereotypes. If you have watched past races, there are usually the same groups (older married couple, dating couple, best friends, ect.) and they edit the pairs to fit expectations we have for these pairs. We expect the older married couple to have a strong bond and patience with each other (Chip and Kim), we expect the dating couple to fight and argue (Colin and Christie), we expect the best friends to argue a bit, but be really cool about things (Linda and Karen). I wouldn't base all your opinions on a few edited minutes of television. Look at poor Jerry from Survivor. She is still feeling the repercussions of this.

I am glad Chip and Kim won. Yes, Kim didn't do the road blocks, but Chip was ok with that. It looked like Kim did a lot of things that don't make for "good" tv, such as handling the travel reservations at the airports and reading the maps. I didn't mind Colin and Christie that much either. They were extremely competitive people and they were in an extremely stressful and competitive situation for over a month. Of course the producers aren't going to show a lot of Colin's lighter moments, because that didn't fit his "character" on the show. We have all done/said things we shouldn't have when we are stressed and angry, the only difference is we don't have a camera for a national tv show following us around.

Ok, off my soap box now. Can't wait for Season 6! I have watched every season, and I love this show! Hopefully they can find a way to get this show on during the week, because I am never home on Saturday nights.

I was so glad Chip and Kim won. Not only did I love their attitude throughout the race, they deserved it. They were the only team that never came in last. The other 3 teams were all lucky in that they came in last on non-elimination rounds.

Only change I would have made would have been to have the bowling moms in the final three over Brandon and Nicole. I hated Nicole's meltdowns and could not believe that they wouldn't get out of the boat for their own flag clues, but used Chip. Then when he finally caught on and wouldn't tell them the correct information, they started saying mean things about him. I thought that was totally uncalled for.

I can't believe I actually got to watch both hours of it.

Got to admit, I really liked Colin in what they showed last night, but since I had pulled for Chip and Kim from the beginning I was happy!

However, I think the Bowling Moms may have become my favorite team last night.

Also, I'm an evangelical Christian and was getting pretty tired of all the Jesus references myself. Wasn't it nice of CBS to show sensitivity by flashing an image of the clouds/heaven a few times whenever he said it?

I was disappointed that Chip flat out lied to Brandon. I wish he had told him "You'll have to look for yourself", but what can you do under pressure?

Finally, I look for C/C's limo driver (great move on Colin's part) to have his own show - what personality!

I was rooting for Chip/Kim from the beginning and couldn't stand Colin/Christie, but I'll be the first to admit that he was actually a different person last night. He was so gracious when he congratulated Chip/Kim and said they deserved to win and that the only thing that mattered to him was Christie. That was nice to see.

Congrats to Chip & Kim, I'm so glad they won! I was rooting for the Moms too, sorry they didn't finish higher. Colin, "bring it on", I guess Chip did just that! Granted, editing plays a huge role in reality shows, but, they are only working with material the contestants provide, and , sorry Colin, but you did provide lots of negative material.

Of the final three, I most wanted Chip and Kim to win. Frankly, I didn't think that it was wrong for Chip to lie when he did. It is one thing to share information with another team, but Brandon was putting Chip (who was doing all the work) at a supreme disadvantage if Chip told the truth, IMHO. Brandon finally got the idea he should check for himself--well, DUH!!!!! I suspect that if Brandon had just gotten out of the boat and went part way to shore, Chip would have probably been willing to share that it was the right one--if Chip had gotten the wrong flag, they would have been potentially way behind in the fight for the last flag. Chip and Kim caught a major, major break, but they kept their cool in the latter stages of the game, unlike the other two teams (though Chip was pretty obnoxious a couple times early in the game). I was so glad the other teams lost, given the behavior we saw.

The AR teams were on the CBS morning show and Colin asked Christie to marry her - she said yes. Kind of interesting.

May I say Christie looked breathtaking this morning on the Early Show. The people behind the racers were relatives. I received a phone call at that time. Can someone tell me who was behind Chip and Kim. I did catch the lady behind Colin and Christie was the mom of one of them, which one? It didn't look like Brandon and Nicole had anyone and the bowling moms had their husbands who looked liked they could be a lot of fun too!

I really enjoyed watching the finale. Congrats to Chip and Kim! They were the most fun to watch because they never fought and seemed to be enjoying the race.

I saw a different side of Christie during the last few episodes. She and Colin deserve one another as far as I'm concerned. I'm just soooo thankful they didn't win.

I hope Brandon finds a nice, deserving woman. He seems like such a caring guy.

How long 'til the next one?!?!?!?!?

The women were Chips sisters (his mom and his Lawyer were also there with them) and it was Colins mom.

Whoo hoo! What a race! I was exhausted by the time it was over. You would have thought I was actually there.

So happy for Chip and Kim. Fifteen minutes into the show, I knew that either Chip and Kim or the bowling moms would be eliminated because of the previews.

Could anyone give us a breakdown on the Early Show this morning? Besides Collin proposing, what else was said?

I am so glad that Chip and Kim won. They were my favorites from the start.

It was fun to see everyone on the Early Show altho I think it was sort of tacky for Colin to steal the spotlight from Chip and Kim when he asked Christie to marry him.

Can't wait till AR 6.

On the side note, I think the C/C's driver should get his license revoked. I wonder if Texas DMV can do that based on the footage.
