Me too, im tired from that last leg!

I wanted the moms to win, but C&K were my second choice, im happy!

Now what am I going to watch every week?

Oh, I'm bummed. I really thought Colin/Christie played the game so well. Did anyone else notice at the beginning of the episode, C/C were only 15 minutes behind Chip/Kim. That after being yeilded for an hour. Talk about playing the game well. It was also a good move to hire the car. It almost worked for them.

I would have been happy for C/K except I just got sick of Kim a few weeks ago. She really didn't do anything in the race. She made Chip do everything. He must've been exhausted.

Nicole was really bothering me tonight. She definitely brought back memories of Flo. I would have been really angry if they had won.

That was the best ending I've ever seen on Amazing Race! I was literally on the edge of the couch. I'm so happy for Chip and Kim, and totally amazed that Colin was so gracious. Who knows, maybe the whole thing was a maturing experience for him! Just sorry the bowling moms weren't able to make it to the end.

A new Amazing Race starts October 2nd (I'm pretty sure that's the date.)

I was crying those "tears of joy" right along with Kim at the end! At last, a team that I like has won!

I kept on watching after it was over hoping there would be a blurb about AR6, but no such luck. AR5 was the best season yet IMHO, but I'm ready for the next race ASAP! Bring it on!!!

I agree Colin & Christie played the game extremely well. I was surprised to see the time difference in the beginning of the show. I couldn't believe it was only a few minutes! But I could not stand either one of them, I thought they had really bad attitudes. I think Chip & Kim's attitudes were good through out the race. Kim may not have done a lot, but did Christie? Didn't Colin do most of the roadblocks? All I remember is Christie eating the caviar.

Woo Hoo! I was voting for Chip and Kim from the beginning. They played and enjoyed themselves in every single thing the did.

As much as I disliked C/C, the last few shows had me disliking Nicole more....Brandon was OK...Cannot believe I am saying this but I was happy that C/C beat Nicole....

I did find it funny when Brandon was saying that he loves Nicole but is not sure if this is what he really wants forever and then her saying at the end that it brought them closer and will be happy together...??

I'm glad Chip and Kim won, too. They make a great team and as long as Chip was ok with Kim not doing things, it's ok. They made it work the best way for them. I was really sad about the moms. They put up a terrific fight. They should be very proud of themselves. I will say I was really put off by both Christie's and Nicole's meltdowns. Colin's reaction at the end surprised me. He was gracious. It makes me believe that the camera's only picked up his tirades for good TV. The last teams all played a good game. I thoroughly enjoyed it all. :D

I think they pushed the date back a few weeks again. It was originally supposed to start in September, then they changed to October 2. I think it's starting in November now. I might have read that on this thread. I'll look it up.

Here's the link

I'm actually glad. This show really stresses me out. I could totally use a little "cooling off" period. This way lets me focus on some of my other shows that are just now starting.

One less show I have to tape while I am in WDW. :)

I'm so happy for Chip and Kim - they played well and were likable. I really couldn't believe C & C were so upset about the yield - it's part of the deal and was pretty much guarenteed for them since they were so often in the lead. I also was sort of amazed that B & N actually expected them to tell them about the clue on the island - they were really trying to take advantage of Chip's nice reputation IMO. I was glad to see that C/C and B/N seemed to have put things in a better perspective by the end - they were scaring me with their "this is the end of the world" expressions!

I was so impressed with the bowling moms. When that one gal was climbing the cliff, competing with Colin, she was amazing. I was so happy for her that she was able to complete the climb.

I thought one of the best moments of tonights show was when they first got into the boats and were heading for the buoy. Chip & Kim weren't even in the lead, but Chip got this look on his face where you could just tell he was really enjoying the moment. It was really cool to see that - especially when they kept focusing on the angst of the other couples.

WOOO HOOO!! I am soooo happy Chip & Kim won!!! :bounce: :bounce:
They did an awesome job!!!

I was surprised there wasn't more emotions shown at the end, especially by C/C. We were debating if the ending was staged, giving the couples cooling off time. Staged meaning they already finished the race, knowing who places where but then set up for the cameras, with having all the other couples there.

I'm SOOOO glad that Chip and Kim won--I've been cheering for them from the beginning! You just really got the feeling that they love and respect each other, and had such a great way of enjoying the journey, not just focusing on winning. You knew that, even if they won no money, that they would walk away richer for the experience. Plus, They are such caring and generous people--great to see the "nice guys" finish first for a change!

I have a feeling about this too, how convienent was it that Chip & Kim got to talk about the race and how happy they were just before C/C came around the corner?

I don't know for sure, but I thought C/C Must have been alot closer to them then that, I mean that crazy driver was driving on the shoulder...he was nuts!

Congrats to Planogirl for winning!!!!!!

And thanks to everyone for playing - we kicked some major ***!!!

I was just happy that C&C didn't win last night. It was a close one though. I felt bad for the bowling moms - they put up a good fight.
