I also remember the whole car accident issue and people freaking out that Rob and Amber didnt stop to help. It shocks me to this day that people didn't accept that the footage they were seeing was being recorded by people already taking control of the situation. Rob and Amber knew this and kept running the race.

I completely agree with both of the above statements. While it's a race, it's also a game. I like when teams "play" it well.

I really don't understand the hatred for Rob and Amber. They were great competitors and made for a very entertaining season. His eating challenge ploy was truly brilliant. They never cheated and they really supported each other as a team without screaming and worked together. It was also the only time a plane had actually left the gate and then they brought it back. That was a little unfair, I thought. I'd love to see them win it.

I totally agree with this. I love Rob and Amber and they're so much fun to watch. The things he says/does are hilarious and definately sometimes very typical of a bostonian.

I like; Uchenna & Joyce, and Dustin & Kandice, David & Mary (Team Kentucky)

I don't like; Charla & Mirna
I don't personally like, but think they make good t.v.; Joe & Bill (Team Guido)

I don't remember; Eric & Danielle, John & Jill, and Teri & Ian. Could someone remind me who they were?

And, I like them, but they're really starting to push it with their reality tv apperances; Rob & Amber

I will be rooting for Romber and the Beauty Queens...I love a team that "PLAYS" the game not just runs the race.

Ditto! And I respect that Rob and Amber can run the race without attacking each other like some of the other couples.

I can't help with John & Jill or Teri & Ian. I don't know if I just don't remember them, or if I didn't watch when they were on. I've been somewhat hit & miss with watching AR


Eric and Danielle are a 'merged team'
They were both on season 9, the same season as my favorite team... The Hippies

Eric is one of the Frat boys (Jeremy & Eric) and Danielle was on team Double D (Dani & Danielle)

I understand they started dating after the race, so although they're both AR alumni, they are a new team.

Terri and Ian were an older couple. He was very bossy with her but they got along well. Jill and John were a dating couple. He was known as John Vito. I don't remember which season either couple were from

I think I may recall Terri and Ian. I remember an older-bossy guy I didn't like, that may of been Ian.

I do not remember Jill and Jon, unless it's the Jon I'm thinking of, but I thought his partner-girlfriend's name was Victoria. Or is that a different Jon?

That's a different Jon who was actually Jonathan. He was a jerk ( and that is putting it nicely.) I think that Jill and Jon Vito were a good pair.

Can you tell I watch way to much of the old AR episodes on the Game Show Network

Jill and Jon Vito, dating were on Amazing Race 3. Jill's older brother (who was also Jon Vito's best friend) was employed by Cantor Fitzgerald and died in the World Trade Center on September 11. They made it to fifth place on that race.

Jon and Jill were dating back then, but they aren't any longer.

In my opinion, the people who don't like Ron and Amber are just sorry that they can't be more like them. They not only love each other, but they like and respect each other. The one's crying about not wanting them back on any show, just seem to be overly jealous of their success.

Though honestly, out of all the other teams I can only remember a few. Some weren't very 'memorable'.

Anybody been watching Rob and Amber's new show? I can't but help and feel sorry for Amber, shes such a sweet down to earth girl, and he's not the worst guy on the planet, but a jerk in my opinion. I think she could have done better, and with his new "career" as a professional gambler I just hope he doesn't end up blowing her million that she won.

I'm also looking forward to Feb 18th.

My main reason for disliking Rob & Amber is that they seemed so certain that they were better than everyone else. Plus, they really irritated me when they left their bags on the plane. Presumably a production assistant retrieved them but leaving a bag on the plane can cause airports to shut down with concerns of a security threat. I suppose it is really a flaw in the rules of the game--I also think that they should lose their gear when they leave it behind during footraces to the pit-stop--but it still bothered me.

Now, Kevin & Drew...I'm looking forward to that! ("Swing you fat *******, swing.")

I'm also looking forward to the Guidos since I think they got their cockiness handed to them by ending 24+ hours behind. It'll be interesting to see if they've learned from their experience.

I don't know a bunch of the teams since I started watching during the 6th season (saw the first on DVD). Getting excited though....
