For the FE gifts, we gave these popcorn bags filled with candy and silly straws to the kids.
Then we did a second gift later in the week for the families/adults.
It was a Florida theme package..
a small jar of orange jam from a place near Orlando, the Disney 4 parks one world CD (we just burned copies and then printed the same labels from the original for the jewel cases), and a sunshine keychain to be filled with sand.
We received lots of cute things. Some people did gifts from where they were from. We got an I Love Lucy themed gift, complete with a ticket to her museum in NY. (This was from the people from that area.)
The Canadians and the group from the UK gave us candy and treats and postcards from their respective countries.
Someone gave each of us those metal water bottles personalized with Mickey Mouse and our names.
We got personalized photo albums, picture frames, beer koozies, pirate necklaces, lanyards, bookmarks, buttons, and magnets.
There were also some very simple gifts, like ziplock bags of candy or chapsticks.
Someone gave us a rooster dish towel lol.
But it was all with the fun of the gift exchange so everything was appreciated and excited us when we got back to the room.
We spent maybe $100 for 2 sets of 25 stateroom gifts. Most people seemed to go the route of one gift per room and gave something nicer and more personalized, with either the family name or with individual names.
I have some pictures that I can post sometime soon to show off some of our favs!
Since it is so far out, it is tough to say how big of a group we will have.
I would say a cut off date for signing up for one month before the sail date, to give plenty of time to plan.
Then, anyone who joins after that date can start their own group.
If the numbers get too high, we can also split the group in half. The group size for our last cruise was perfect, but we have heard they can get pretty high!
