Finally having a moment to unwind after coming home last week! This was our first cruise and we loved it. I was traveling with my dh, 2 1/2 year old son, and mother. We had 2 navigator veranda's on the 6th floor. The food was pretty decent but there was no way to get away from people being sick. People were sneezing and coughing everywhere so using the wipes and washing hands was a must. We also utilized Flounder's and our son LOVED IT. He is a stay at home child and had no problem adjusting there. He especially loved Kenny! Even if we didn't have booked hours there Colin would sometimes have a meltdown at a meal and would go to Flounder's for just an hour. As soon as he got to the door he'd say "OK, bye, see you soon!!!" and run in.
We enjoyed the shows and watched Dreams on our tv. Talk about convenience when you have a sleepy toddler who still wants to see the show. Bingo was loads of fun and the staff that run the events are just fantastic.
Our servers were I Ketut and Panda they were just awesome and very personable. They were everything and more that we were expecting with our cruise. Ronaldo was our room host and was amazing as well whatever we needed or any questions that were to be had were given asap.
Our only issues were:
The safe was missing from my mothers room which led to a whole investigation with Disney (not on us but staff and whatnot).
The actual spray nozzle that adjusts in her shower was missing.
For a morning our shower was only giving off scalding hot water! This was fixed promptly
My mothers ceiling in her room creaked an awful lot. Our rooms were night and day. You could hear a pin drop in our room and nothing but noise in her connecting room!

We would definitely cruise again and are already making plans! Any questions feel free to ask!:thumbsup2

Glad you had a great cruise!!!:thumbsup2
Do you remember what rooms numbers you had?
We have connecting navigator veranda's on the 6th floor in a couple weeks and if I know which are noisy I'll make sure not to put the kids in that room.
Thanks for your report!

sure thing! They were rooms 6640 and 6642. 6640 was the noisy room for anyone else wondering

Thanks for the numbers-- I think we must be on the other side of the ship in 6140 & 6142. I wonder if our twin 6140 will be noisy also-- there are no stateroom reports for either of our rooms.
Did you get off at Nassau?
From your verandah could you see the Flying Dutchmen at Castaway Cay when you docked or did you see the dock?

We did get off at Nassau. We did the discover Atlantis tour. If I did that all over again I might have done something different. However my son loves fish so the aquarium was a hit.
We could see the Dutchman from our room at CC. We also saw the Atlantis from our room.

Here is a link to some of my photos. I use facebook but this should work (I'm not as savvy with posting them otherwise.)

LOVE the pictures! Looks like you had a fabulous cruise.

I noticed that you had a great spot for the PITC party. What time did you get on deck for that?

Thank you! We really did! For the party....I believe we got there around 9:20ish??? You would be surprised the 10th deck was packed (that is where we went first thinking the 9th would be packed). We went over to the side instead of on the goofy pool. It really worked out great we were able to sit on the stairs and take pictures and video and let many other children still see around us.

I don't know what the actual temperature was exactly but I can tell you we were in the water from 9:30 til 2 :cool1:
It was a little cool at first but it warms up instantly in the heat. Coming from New England it felt perfect!
