Amanda's Menu Planning Spectacular!

Amanda, congrats on dropping those pounds!!! You go, girl!! :cheer2:

Just finished reading days 4 & 5 of your trip report and looking at all the pictures. I'm really enjoying your trip report!

Hang in there - the holiday rush and bustle is here! You're doing a great job so far! Best wishes for a warm and easy walk tomorrow!

He was such a doll and easy on the eyes. :earboy2: Very nice and very good waiter. We just loved it there. The food was so wonderful that we finished everything and then had to roll ourselves out of there. I could have eaten there more than once on our trip and everyone agreed it was the favorite meal of the entire stay. Oh what I wouldn't do right now for a bowl of the cheddar cheese soup and that chocolate cake dessert.

He is an absolute doll! And a very very good waiter - he paced our meal just right so that we were not painfully full until we finished desert. We may have to make a stop in January to see if he is still there.

You are right he was the best. So nice and personable as well. It was my own fault I was so painfully full. That chocolate cake did me in. He suggested it as wonderful and he was right. I have forgotten his name, do you have it? I would like to write a letter to WDW about him and praise him.

I liked looking at your pictures that you posted. I am envious that you get to go back so soon. Are you and your husband going, I have forgotten that too! What is with my memory? I guess my mind is still down in WDW. I did miss having the beaver tails this trip. I wonder why they took them out?

Ya know - I don't have his name which surprises me because I usually write that stuff down. Sorry.

Plan for today - as soon as I get his butt out of bed we will be going for at least an 8 mile walk. Then I have to come home and make Chili cheese dip and brownies for a holiday party tat we are going to tonight. Main objection - avoid the sweets. We will see how well that works.

Got lots of Christmas shopping done tonight - Sunday I only have to get one more thing for my SIL, and do DH's shopping and then I am done. Then we move on to wrapping - groan!

No sweat, I will try and see when I get my rolls of film back if I can see his name tag from any of the pictures. Have a nice time at your party. :cool1:

:sunny: Good morning, Amanda! :sunny:

I hope your walk went well! I also hope the rest of your weekend was fabulous!

Hmmmm, a meal at Le Cellier in January? I may have to check our schedule and make a PS for DH & I. This is truly one of our favorite restaurants! Yummy!

Do your very best to face Monday with a smile both on your face and in your heart!

Good Morning Friends. I am the perfect example of someone who takes all week to lose a couple of pounds and then 1 day to gain it all back. The scale this morning said 165 lbs again. I did pretty good food wise Friday and Saturday day. Saturday night at the party is when it all fell apart. It was a great party and we had a great time  - I taught some desperate housewives how to poll dance - and no that is not a mistype. And Sunday was spent recovering.

I did walk 4.2 miles this weekend. The weather forecast for this week shows some cold weather ahead so we will be walking today and tomorrow and praying they are wrong about snow.

Plan for today:
B: Ham and cheese roll ups - 2 carbs
L: Work Lunch - I'll do my best.
D: ??? Not sure. Nothing really sounds good.
Exercise- 3 miles
Water - ALOT of water! I know alot of this is just water retention and needs to be flushed out.

~Amanda

So, I wonder how many calories one can burn while "pole dancing!"

Amanda, you obviously are a woman of many and varied talents! I had no idea! ;)

You asked about the half weekend in my journal. We arrive Thursday and leave early Monday. If we do Le Cellier, it may be Thursday evening.

Pole Dancing?????? Where did you learn that Amanda? I want to hear more about THAT! :earseek:
(But I understand that you actually burn quite a few calories that way!!!)

I am super impressed with your committment to the walking Amanda! You are just racking up the miles. You should be quite proud of yourself. I am sorry that the scale is not cooperating right now, but I think we all need to refocus on weight loss come the new year. We have done MANY positive changes this last year, but I know I for one want to make it count for more by shedding these pesky pounds!

Have a wonderful week Amanda and a joyous holiday! :flower1:

Pole dancing, Oh my!!!!! That one isn't listed in my WW exercise list! That must have been quite a party!!!!!

I'm facing an overnight gain right now, too. It does a job on one's psyche, doesn't it? But don't let it get to you, its probably mostly water.

Sundie

Hi Amanda,

I am impressed with your varied exercise routine. I think the 1/2 marathon parties might get more interesting. You go girl!

Great job racking up the miles. Keep pushing the water and the pounds will come off.

Have fun wrapping presents tonight.
Beth

Last night I just could not sleep. I couldn't get comfortable and was waking up every hour or so. Due to this I feel awful today and ended up calling in sick to work. I actually feel kind of bad about it - but it is slow and I know I won't be missing much today. I just needed a break.

Food - striving to do the best that I can.
Water - lots of it.
Exercise - WAY TO COLD! They are saying it could start snowing tonight.

~Amanda

 Hi, Amanda. What's up with the waking up? Are you worried about something or were you waking up stuffy or coughing? Whatever the case, I hope you're feeling better soon. Take today as a day for yourself. . .pamper yourself and relax.

Drink lots of water--
Erin

Hi Amamnda,

I hope you are feeling better. A day to yourself sounds :cloud9:. Take a nap and relax. Don't get sucked into the popular "I have so much to do before Christmas thing."
Take care,
Beth

Good morning, Amanda

I hope that you enjoy your day off today and that you are able to catch up on your sleep. Take good care of you!

Tracy

P.S. I read your trip reports. Sounds like you had a great time at WDW! :Pinkbounc

Morning Guys. I am feeling better today although not 100% - I am at work though so I guess that is an improvement. I probably won't get to journals today. Know you are all in my thoughts.

~Amanda
