Good Morning! What an evening we had last night. We had the wedding rehersal and dinner and it was a LONG evening with lots of carby foods. Breakdown for food yesterday:

B: 1 egg, slice of cheese
L: Subway Wrap
S: Mini Baby Ruth and Mini Twix Bar
D: 2 pieces of bread, Italian Salad, White Pasta, Steak Fillet w/Mushrooms, half a slice of cake.
1 beer

So not the best evenings but I tried the best that I could with the menu options available. Plus we didn't eat till 8 pm so by then I was starving if they put it in front of me I ate it! Of course the scale reflected this attitude this morning showing a 2 lbs gain but ya know what that is okay because I'll be flushing alot of those carbs out of me today.

Tonight I am going over the brides house for dinner and to hang out. She is serving seafood - and again I'm going to do the best that I can.

B: Protein Bar
L: Either left over Italian Chicken and veggies or Tuna Salad
D: Up to the Bride!

:worship: I bow to you, princess: Amanda, because I know that soon that water weight will be gone and you will be back to 150.5 or LOWER!!!!:Pinkbounc I'm so ::yes:: I can taste it! Maybe jealousy can jump start my metabolism??;)

Just do the best you can the next day or two and thoroughly enjoy all the wedding festivities. If you can ever post a picture of you look fabulous in your dress, I'd love to see it.

Yes I'm back and easing into the work week. Weddings really suck the life out of you when they are through. I completely gave up even trying to stay on program and just tried to enjoy the moment. The ceremony was beautiful and touching and the reception was a blast! I didn't drink to much since I ended up having to drive some people home that did ;)

Yesterday I crashed and I mean that litterally. I slept till 10a.m. got up and took a shower to get all the hairspray and product out of my hair. The shower exhausted me so much that I had to lay down for another hour. We went out and got breakfast , lunch, and dinner since I couldn't of cooked anything even if I wanted to. I took a 2 hour nap midway through the day and just enjoyed my couch. I also did manage to finish the laundry and pick up the house a bit.

And now we are up to today. Plan:
B: Protein Bar - 4 carbs
L: Tuna Salad and Celery Sticks
D: Either Chicken or steaks - not sure yet.

No exercise today since I am still not up to par energy wise. I feel like I am moving a lot slower then normal.

Onward and downward!

Update on menu:

B: Protein Bar
L: 1 piece of American Cheese, Tuna Salad, 2 slices of thin crust pizza 3" squares.

I was STARVING by lunch today. I had to go late and I was already hungry to begin with so when I got home I just started eating. Fortunantly I didn't binge although the pizza was probably a bad choice - but a quick one which was what I was looking for.

Sounds like you made the best of a tough situation, Amanda. Just make it a low-carb night tonight, if you can.

Last night was the exact opposite of low carb - but ya know what it is done and behind me. The scale has scared me back into my routine and I want to have a couple days under me before heading into June when I start trying to be cheat free again. We are having a lot of BBQ's over the Memorial Day weekend and I am going to do my best at each one of them.

B: Chocolate Mint Protein Bar - I'm hoping that by getting the chocolate in me will keep me on program the rest of the day.

L: Carribean Jerk Fish and grilled Zuchini

D: Grilled Porkchops - dh will be having corn and I'll be having greenbeans

Exercise: We will be walk/running 8/2 for 30 minutes tonight.

Fun things: Since we are "off work" tonight from our business I'll be heading to borders to pick up the Cruise Passporter. We are meeting up with the neighbors over the weekend and her and I are going to pour through the book together and talk about our trip (next year). I also believe tonight is the season finale of "24"

Good Morning! Yesterday was not a successful day although I did drink lots of water and stuck to diet soda so I did manage to flush a pound of water weight out and other "stuff" out.

Today's plan:
B: COFFEE!!! w/sugar free syrup and half n half - Protein Bar
L: Italian Grilled Pork Chops & Greenbeans
D: ???

We are going to the movies tonight with a friend to see "End of Days" I never have a desire to snack during movies so no worries there.

I am trying to decide what I want to take to my neighbors for our BBQ on Sunday. I think I'll chop up different fruits and make some cream cheese dip for them. I'll have blueberries, Rasberries, and strawberries on the platter for me of course ;)

No exercise today, tomorrow I am going to do one of my FIRM tapes since DH and I won't have a chance to run and I think getting a work out will be good. Our plan is to actually run on Friday night and Sunday day and to run again on Monday to catch up since we haven't had a chance to run in over a week now.

Yesterday was fairly successful - I didn't drink as much water as I should have but I also stayed on program food wise. And the scale rewarded me this morning.

Yesterday:
B: Protein Bar
L: Grilled Pork Chop and Greenbeans, piece of cheese
S: Mini Twix bar
D: 2/3 low carb burger from Hardees - couple of french fries.

Todays Plan:
B: Protein Bar (are we seeing a pattern here)
L: Salami and Cheese
S: Peanuts or Celery Sticks
D: Chicken Breast

Tonight I am going to relax and get in some "me" time. I'm going to work on my scrapbooking tonight and I'm also going to do my Firm workout. I do need to pick up the kitchen a little bit and I need to paint my toe nails. :)

I just read your post in my journal. Thank you so much for going to all that trouble for me. I do not think I will need to use it. Won's dad is pretty rationale. Also, there is no reason to apologize. We all get really busy sometimes. I've had weeks where I can only get to my journal. I know that you are thinking about me even when you can't post. You've got a very busy schedule. Please don't worry about it.

Good Morning - I am giving myself the day off from my plan. I know I am not going to stick to it anyway - I just "know" and therefore why go through the act of saying I have a plan just to fail it. This weekend I am going to sit down and figure out my goals for the month of June and start getting ready by stocking the fridge.

Good morning, Amanda!

I understand about taking a day off now and then. Don't forget to pat yourself on the back for the healthy stuff you still do for you today! Maybe you'll drink more water than you used to. Maybe you'll remember to take your vitamins or you'll choose to eat a little healthier and not binge. I know these healthy habits of ours are ingrained in us now, so even when you're off plan, I bet you're still doing some things that are good for you! :sunny:

I hope things are looking :sunny: in your part of the world. The weekend is almost here and we deserve it!!
