Hey, am I too late for the dancing? :banana: Some of us :rolleyes: can remember to dancing to this song in the 70's. YIKES!!!!!

Amanda, I know what you're saying about starting the day with :) already done. It always makes me feel like I've got a handle on things! You're doing great. . .to have a long day ahead and a positive, healthy atttitude--well, I think you're going to :boat: right on through!

Where has the day gone? I slipped up a bit in my eating but not horrible. Instead of a turkey and lettuice wrap I ate a bit of our leftover chinese. No rice though!
b: half english muffin, peanut butter - 11 carbs
l: Chinese - 10 carbs
s: low carb ice cream bar - 5 carbs
d: Subway wrap -12 carbs
total: 38 carbs.
Am I going to beat myself up over 3 little carbs - NOPE!
Came home and munched on some grapes and fruit dip.
 
Check out my signature! I only have a .5lbs more to go until I lose my 5 in June! I like setting these mini goals, makes me feel like I am actually getting somewhere.

I tried on my tighter jeans this morning and was able to get them on. With a little stretching out they should be just fine. I didn't want to be uncomfortable today (suppose to be HOT today :sunny: ) so I didn't wear them but I'm feeling good anyway.

Plan for today:
Food: My day off! :)
b: scrambled eggs with ham, cheese, and green peppers
l: ???
d: Pizza and Margaritas.
Water: 8 glasses
Exercise: After work today.
Vitamins: I'll take them with breakfast.

Hi Amanda - Congratulations on getting close to your mini goal. Sometimes I think it's easier to set those smaller ones than look at the whole one. Keep up the great work!!!

Hmmm, I hope you're not avoiding your journal, because that usually means things have fallen apart. We love you no matter what, girlfriend, so come on back!

Another option could be computer problems. I HATE when that happens! If that's the case, I hope it all gets fixed soon.

Maybe, just maybe, you're BUSY! Knowing you and the multitude of things you do in a day, this is very possible.

Whatever the reason, know that I've missed you. I'll see you when I get back on Friday.

Hiya everyone! Doe thanks for stopping by. As usual it was a busy weekend and I didn't have much time for the computer.

I will admitt I was not great over the weekend but I do not think I did much damage. We had lots of social events therefore there was much drinking. Today I did crash for about 2 hours and felt great afterwards. Here is quick recap for the weekend.

Friday:
Food - My off day :)
Water - ?
Vitamins :)

Food - not so great
Water - not at all

I did however get a lot of housework done as the cleaning has fallen to the wayside for awhile.

Good Monring eveyone! I am feeling nice and strong this morning. Being restful on Sunday really helped. :cloud9: Today we are going back to plan - as Erin said I'm wanting to get weighed and measured at the end of the week.

My voice is a little hoarse this morning so I need to be careful with the amount of talking I do. :p

Plan:
Water: 8 glasses - 6/8 done so far.
Exercise: Curves after work. :)
Vitamins: Taking them w/breakfast :)
Food: 35 carbs or less
b: egg omelet w/cheese, ham, and green peppers - 5 carbs
l: Tuna salad w/5 whole wheat crackers - 11 carbs
d: Shrimp, broccoli, mushroom alfredo - approx 10 carbs
total: 26 carbs :)

I went a little over the in carbs yesterday. About 10pm I was STARVING so I had a pbj sandwich on low carb bread. I figure it to be about 23 carbs. So carb total was 49 carbs. Not horrible but not at goal either.

Today is a crazy day. I skipped breakfast because I wasn't hungry and nothing sounded good. And I'm not sure what I will have for dinner since I am working a 12 hour day today.

Plan so far:
Vitamins: Just Taken :)
Exercise: Rest Day :)
Water: 6 to 8 glasses
Food:
b: Nothing - 0 carbs
l: Shrimp Alfredo - 10 carbs
d: Possible Salad at Panera Bread (Ceasar - 21 carbs)
Total: 31 carbs

Hello! Well last night was not good. I ended up eating a package of doughnuts, chicken fajitia and grapes all between 8pm and 10pm. I was STARVING for some reason and couldn't get enough food. I think most of this is due to not being satisified with dinner. My lack luster Ceasar salad left me wanting more.
Breakdown of food (because I think it's important)
b: nothing - bad - 0
l: Shrimp Alfredo - good - 10
s: sugar cookie - not so good - ?
d: Ceaser Salad (menu says net 15 carbs but I removed all the crutons and only used half the salad dressing so I'm counting it as 7.5 carbs)
S: hostess powdered doughnuts, 1 small chicken fajita, grapes.

I think the lack luster dinner along with working out really hard Sunday and Monday caused my body to crave more substance. I should have probably planned larger meals yesterday instead of the small meals that I did have. Live and learn.

Plan for today:
Water: 8 glasses - I need to flush my system.
Vitamins: Taking them now :)
Exercise: Curves after work
Food: 35 carbs or less
b: half enlish muffin (9) and Peanut butter (2) = 11 carbs
l: Turkey Lunch Meat and Cheese = 5 carbs
s: ?
d: Low carb Chicken Parmesean (need to total out the recipe)
s: No sugar added chocolate pudding. = 5 carbs

I end up starving after a couple of heavy workout. Make sure you get some good protien in there. Your menu for today looks great. I hope you had a good time at Curves.

I was doing great yesterday until my husband said he wanted ice cream. :teeth: I love ice cream! So no :) for food but I did earn them for vitamins and water. I decided to post-pone my workout.

Plan for today:
Water: 8 glasses
Vitamins: With Breakfast
Food: 35 carbs or less
b: egg omelet with ham, green peppers, mushrooms, and cheese
l: Probably tuna salad or leftover Chicken Parmesean
d: Culpeppers either hot wings or a salad. Depends on how hot I am sitting outside :faint:
After dinner I'm hitting Curves for a workout.

I weighed myself this morning and I am up .5lb - more then likely from the ice cream. I'll be happy if I can get back down to 164.5 and call it a month. I'm going to take the same phillosophy next month - 5 lbs at a time.

You know..... I think I read somewhere that ice cream in the hot summer months has no calories!;) If it's as hot in St. Louis as it is here in Cleveland, I'll bet you'll sweat it right off today! Whew! :faint: I think the weather forecaster said the other day that last year we had 1 whole day of 90 degree heat the whole summer. This year, in the month of June alone, we have had 10 days and if it reaches 90 today, we'll hit an all time record of 11 days of 90 degrees + in the month of June! :scared: And to think... just a few months ago, us Clevelanders were celebrating the snowiest year on record. :cold: What a change a few months make! :teeth:

I like how you have broken down your weight loss goal into smaller, monthly goals! Do you have a reward planned for each success?
