IDK how you're going to chose between those cakes! I love them all!!!! I have a thing for cupcake cakes so i'm partial to that one but the one that Jazzylolo is digging i'm digging too!

I had a hard time with the cakes too. I like the one we decided on because it will be so colorful AND elegant. I do love the cupcakes though!! I know Disney charges an arm and a leg for the mini Wedding cakes so maybe they would do the same for cupcakes

As far as these go... They remind me of the feather fans that burlesque dancers use... to some people that might be alittle much but for me.... OMG I LOVE THEM!!!!!!! They're so cool! I would so do that!

That could work, at the very ends of the U. Or if you find some really large feathers, could put them in metal urns and set them on the floor or on a pedestal, maybe surrounding the doors you will be entering the reception from?

I am really excited about it. I wanted something very simple and I finally found it.

Now what to do with my hair.

2 options

#1 Just do the veil with big earrings and a necklace. Here's the thing...My hair isn't going to be "up" so you probably won't see the earrings unless they are like 6" long!

#2 Get a cute haircomb or something to wear with the veil, skip the earrings and do a necklace.

I need to find some good short hair pics to decide how to do it. Maybe I need to do a hair trial.

I've seen some really beautiful hairbands, and sparkly combs which I think would look lovely with a long veil. A hair trial might help if you have time, but for me personally, I think you would loose the beauty of earrings even if they were huge. HTH :

For the centerpieces, the most dramatic one is a real eye catcher, I think it would work at the guestbook table, if anybody asks where it is well, it would be easy to point it out.

The second toned-down option is beautiful!!

I really liked the style of earrings you had pictures of back earlier in the thread, I think they would still work with a cathedral veil. What kind of hair comb are you picturing? A band over in front of the veil? A decorative comb in the back of your hair under the veil? I think it'd still be nice to have something in your hair during your reception when the veil becomes impractical to wear, sch as during dancing

I love both of those table decorations - I admit with the first I would be that guest trying to sneak off with one at the end of the night as an awesome souvenir! Just kiddin...maybe...

That hair style is adorable, something that sparkles with a nice necklace would be gorgeous, that would be my vote. You could still were studs, or small dangles.

Yay you bought a veil!!!!

Ever since i saw the pictures of you in your dress with the cathedral length veil i'm on a cathedral length veil kick myself! I never thought to get that length but i'm starting to fall in love with it! I think it looks amazing on you and it goes with your dress beautifully!


I love the hair style you picked out too... just minus that headband... I think chandelier earings would look great!
