Amanda & Eric 03/03/10- WP/WHP/Sago Cay Centerpiece Ideas!

I love that idea. Night weddings are my favorite (being that mine was a night :rotfl:). Are you thinking of red now or is that just a picture you found?

No not red (1st wedding...:lmao:) but I like the look. Maybe in this color
purpleRoseHandtie36BIG.jpg

ooh this is gorgeous...the candles and the simple clean flowers!!

I love that too!! See the napa room keeps sticking out. I totall see that kind of setup with it being dark outside and the MK all lit up in the background :lovestruc

I definitely see that in the Napa Room. It is the perfect setting for that. Although the WHP would be amazing as well since it is outside.

I thought you used red for your first wedding that was what confused me! Those purple flowers are amazing too. Very elegant.

So we just heard back regarding AK.

PRO'S- Less expensive than I thought! F&B Min is only $2500!!

CON'S- Reception can't start until 7 and is only 1 1/2 hours long!:scared1: By then it's 8:30...what would we do :confused3

Ok so if we do this at night I am going for simple elegance...something with a romantic mood.

Yea because I think they run 8:30 to 9:30...we wouldn't get there till 9...or later!!

I do like the idea but I want a longer reception.

hmmm :scratchin that would be a short reception... could you do an afterparty somewhere? An AK wedding would be amazing, I saw a bride on here who had one, let me try and find the link for you...

I agree with the longer reception! You can't eat dinner and cake in 1.5 hours! Plus the dances, etc. You will not have a chance to sit down and enjoy your reception.

If you had an Animal Kingdom wedding wouldn't you lose your deposit with Randy since he isn't allowed in the parks??

The idea was interesting, but yes I have Randy booked, so I could use him for the 7 hours before, lol. An hour and a half is just not enough time...as amazing as it would be:lovestruc

in the winter, they close AK at 5pm don't they? Maybe they could start earlier in value season when the parks close much earlier.

Some of the pictures you've posted have been beautiful.

But after following your saga for awhile, I truly hope you realize that a fairy tale wedding doesn't make a marriage. You could get married at a court house and have the best marriage. It's not about the perfect reception or venue. It's about 2 people sharing a life together.

I wish you all the luck there is.

I think a 1 1/2 hour reception is way too short. Our reception felt incredibly short and it was twice that! You don't have time to enjoy yourself. It looks amazing but I think the Napa Room sounds just as amazing!!:goodvibes

I had a courthouse ceremony AND a Fairy Tale Wedding..so you CAN have your cake and eat it too.

I think so too!! I want to enjoy this...that is part of the whole reason of having it there!!

Thank you.

I am not sure why anyone would assume they know me...or to comment on my saga. It's really none of anyone's business. I have been married before, yes...if someone doesn't agree with that I don't think my PJ is the place to express that. So be it, that's what the ignore button is for.

I wasn't commenting on a previous marriage. It was the fact that you've posted so much of your life on the internet and you're going to dig a huge financial hole for a few hours and what should be concentrated on is the long life together.

Lol so what? So people know about my life...who cares??

And who in the world said I was digging a huge financial hole??For god sakes don't talk about what you don't know. I have worked hard to get where I am...and we are NOT going into debt for this wedding.

Case closed. Anyone want to talk about weddings?

I LOVE these two. They would both look fantastic during an evening reception in the Napa room.

Did they say why the reception had to be so short? An hour and a half doesn't even seem like it is enough time for dinner, much less enough time for an entire reception.

People are a bit weird. Just because someone posts about her life and wedding on the internet does not mean she is asking for financial or life advice.
