Amanda & Eric 03/03/10- WP/WHP/Sago Cay Centerpiece Ideas!

My vote would be for ADH but I am partial to that as we had our wedding reception there this past November. Check out a few of our photos.

Our table setups.

How our room was set up from above. We had 50 guests at our wedding so we had 5 tables of 10 on the dance floor and our sweetheart table.

Let me know if you are interested in seeing any other photos. Our ceremony was at 9:00am so our pre reception and reception went from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Our ceremony was in Epcot (Italy). We had a break from 3:00 to 8:00 and then had a dessert party in Epcot at 8:00.

I love the ADH idea actually. It looks like a lot of fun and those photos are great! It does seem a bit big but it would keep you in the Boardwalk area. I think though I would be leaning towards the Napa Room. A nice sit down dinner overlooking the MK just sounds very romantic and very Disney:-)

I love ADH but isn't there a new no outside photography rule there?

I thought ADH was a bit big for our group too. I think for 50 it looks perfect. Linda your photos are gorgeous!!

Now if the no outside photography rule exists, than that is out.

I am leaning toward the Napa room. I think it fits in a lot of ways. Plus look at this!!

I am completley undecided however!! WhP and Sago Cay also sound lovely. haha i have no idea.

I have no idea about fees and all, but I have heard of The Great Movie Ride as a venue..with the dress, that would be COOL and you could take a boat to Epcot for the DP

The Napa room is pretty awesome since it has a view of the castle and you can see Wishes from there.

One thing I have learned on here is that the WP or SBP may seem "un-original" to us obssesive Disbrides because we hear about them all the time, BUT for your guests it will be a super original wedding because they don't obssess like us:lmao:! Does that make sense? I was worried about WP being "boring" but I decided to go with it since I love the venue and it will be new to everyone there...plus the castle window is my fave:lovestruc

Now for a reception, I honestly don't think you could go wrong with any of the choices... I am using ADH and love that you don't need to decorate it at all... that was important to me. I would call your WC and see what they have to say. We had Stacey Meechem for our WC and she sent us pics of everything I could ever ask for. We ended up just trusting our gut and booked ADH sight unseen (well in person at least). So when we went to WDW in march we saw it in person and loved it! It was so clean, sparkley and fun. Plus the balconies on both floors give great views and since we are having a night reception we may even catch a glimpse of Illuminations:banana:

That's what I like!!

I know...you make a good point. I just feel like I see them ALL the time but you are right in that no one else has. ADH does feel a bit large for our group but I think we might keep it in consideration. Thanks!

Is that the Napa room? I've never been there but it looks amazing! Can you see Wishes from there?

I think you are leaning towards Napa Room with everything you keep saying. At least that way the guests can see Wishes since you won't be having a dessert party.

I still vote SBP:rotfl:

The GMR would be way over the minimum expenditure as there is a minimum of 7/8K in entertainment fees plus a high rental fee, and it takes more decorating as it is progressive so you need flowers for more than one area.

here are shots of the Napa Room..Laura is using it too but I can't find her shots

We like the same napa room menu - mainly because we thought it would be the most appealing to our guests.

Our WC is looking into never been done possibilites at the studios and AK. If I find out anything great about AK I will let you know. I know I have seen receptions in Harambe, I don't know what the other options could be for smaller groups.

Wow! I thought you could just rent one area..and I never imagined it would be that much.:scared1:
I thought the Old Hollywood dress would go with the movie theme.

Good luck picking, I can't imagine how hard it is to pick just one location when they all seem so fantastic.

I personally love ADH. My best friend had her reception there and it was so much fun. The food was great and the room didn't even need any decorations. They had the "cocktail" hour upstairs where there is a balcony up with a beautiful view of the Boardwalk and EPCOT (cocktail hour is in quotes because it was 11am and it was a dry wedding.)

Buuut...that Napa room has gorgeous views of the Magic Kingdom. If you picked that location would you have an evening reception so you could time it with Wishes? That would so be romantic. :cloud9:

Regardless of what you pick, I'm sure it was be beautiful and fun. :goodvibes

That would be cool since I used to work at GMR but TOTALLY out of our price range!:rotfl:

That would be great...Df would die for an AK reception, although it's more than likely out of our price range.

Lol you don't make it any easier!! I do love the Napa Room and am kinda leaning toward it, but I miss the idea of a dessert party.

And thanks for your vote Lauren:rotfl2:
