Am I too late???

My DF and I just bought 300 points at SSR with an OCT UY. I'm a teacher and I found out that they are selling DEC use years and this would give me more time to bank points if we had to cancel a summer vacation. We sent our $500, but we have not signed the papers yet. Are we too late to switch to the DEC UY?

I doubt that you are too late, since they give you some days to change your mind even after you sign the contracts. Call your guide right away!

I just joined and got Dec UY. the guide told me he didn't think they were available and I Was able to get it after he checked. You should call first thing on Monday morning. It can't hurt to ask. Good luck!

We changed our UY after the deposit but before the contract was sighned. If
I remember right they had to redo the paper work. I would just contact your guide.

You should be able to switch....also if you already haven't done this, break the 300 point contract into two 150's. That way if you have to sell, the smaller contract will go faster.

I agree. ...or if you find you don't need as many points in the future you can sell one contract. (we have one 300 pt contract)

May I ask what the $500 was for? I know that's not the 10% down.

We talked to an agent last week and he didn't mention sending $500.

The $500 is a down payment of sorts for your membership. It is a part of your down payment. I put mine on my credit card, and you aren't charged until your membership is approved.
