Maybe I AM the only weirdo that thinks that highly of the trilogy as a whole

Okay, now, let me pose one more question: Is PotC possibly the best movie trilogy of all time?

I say it is. Think about all the major trilogies: Lord of the Rings, Matrix, Star Wars (old and new trilogies), Back to the Future, etc. I know at least one person will say Star Wars is better, but I've never enjoyed all three movies of a trilogy like I have with Pirates. What do you all think?

I wouldn't go THAT far, because I'm a huge fan of LotR. Maybe second best movie trilogy of all time.

I liked them all, however, I think that the first is the best and the third was better than the second one. Simply because there was more to it.
