i've enjoyed the longer shows as well. sometimes i think i'd prefer a longer show anyway especially when they do a review of a resort or a "drinking around" event like the boardwalk. that's a lot of content to cover in one hour or less.
I haven't read every response (but did read the first complaint post) and I just have to agree that I love the show and don't care how long it is. If they want to talk for 4 hours, I will very happily listen.
As for the Aulani show, do I have any plans in the foreseeable future to visit Aulani or Hawaii in general? Nope. Did I listen to every second of the show? Absolutely, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Why would I listen to a travel review of a trip I'm not planning to take? Two reasons primarily. I enjoy listening to the team regardless of the topic and I enjoy educating myself about things like this because it sometimes helps me help others who are planning trips even if I haven't been there myself.
The one teeny little criticism I have of the Aulani show is that they forgot to edit out the videos from the audio podcast so every time a video was played, I was stuck listening to several minutes of background music. I listen in the car so I couldn't just fastforward past it. But I realize that was an oversight as they usually jump right past the videos.
Keep up the great work. Make the shows as long as you need to make them to share all of the info that you have to share.
I am so happy that you guys (the team) put up an audio of the last free form Friday on iTunes. I sat out on our back deck a couple of nights ago and listened to it...AND loved it! I laughed so much, to say it reduced my stress level is a huge understatement. Thank you all so much!
As an aside...Schwan's Company (main factory), as well as Tony's Pizza (include Baron's) is located in my town of Salina, Kansas. At one time ours was the largest producer of pizza, not sure if it is anymore.
