I haven't watched in about 4 seasons, except for the auditions. It's WAAAAAAAAAY past it's prime. Honestly, I could care less who wins.

My parents are really into it, I see them watching it over my lap top wile dising. I really dont like it at all it so commercial. I know who I want to "win", but I dont really care. Odd are, Im never gonna listen to them ever again.

No Sonya. I thank you for making this thread. I don't care about American Idol at all. Whatever happened to that Taylor Hicks person..? Exactly. They're famous for a little while. Now I'm not saying all artists are like this but some of them are.

I have never watched it. It's just way to boring, I really don't want to watch people who I don't care about sing songs that I hate, since all the clips I've seen are of people songs that I really really hate.

I watched the auditions and then i quit watching it after that. I used to watch it with my parents when i was younger but i think the last full season i saw was when i was in 5th grade and Carrie won now its so pointless I dont even know whos on the show currently and I dont really care.

i hate it with a thousand firey passions, i have not, will not EVER watch it, and when it is on in my house i must immediatley exit the premesis.

I freaking HATE it.
The only news i hear about it is from dlisted.com...and this season seems ABSOLUTLEY gut-wrenchingly horrendous.

The fact that this show has been on so long makes me feel ill.

Eh, it gets really boring after a while.

I watched all of Season 5, and really liked it. I watched the auditions of Season 6 but got totally disgusted with Sanjaya and couldn't bear to watch it anymore. My mom is totally obsessed with this season, so I don't really have to watch it because I hear it from her ALL THE TIME.

I think Sanjaya really just...ruined it. Or at least it made me realize how craptastic the whole thing is.

I don't watch it either. Fair enough, it's not that big here in the United Kingdom anyway, but I tried watching it, I couldn't get into it.

I don't really like factory-made popular-produced artists. I like artists to earn and scrape their way to the top.
