I feel embarrassed to even ask, but I can be semi-anon here I will.
Am I the only one that doesn't like housekeeping comming into my room making the bed, wiping down the sink etc? I like to catch them in the hallway, exchange old towels for new and leave the "Do not disturb" sign up my whole trip. I don't like strangers being around my stuff.
And as for turndown service, I took one cruise and one night returned after dinner to find the cabin steward (is that what they are called) had layed out my nightgown , nipped in in the middle naturally. At first I thought it was funny then I thought OMG why would he do that?
I'm a private person really, don't like friends poking in my closets etc. It's very easy for me to make the beds, and walk into the hallway for clean towels. I feel like we are renting the room for the week , we are entitled to privacy. I hope that at WDW I will be able to keep the mousekeeper out.
There must be someone else out there who doesn't like mousekeeping, were you able to avoid it, or does disney really push it to get them in your room once a day?
please go easy on me
