Am I the only one who doesn't like hot pot restaurants?

OK, but I thought the concept of cooking your own food is similar. (And others on the thread have also mentioned MP/fondue.)

A bit similar, but hot pot is fondue on crazy steroids.

Didn't say anything about quick dining. I, too, like to linger with my party. But as far as the food, I like it when a good chef makes the meal, and a delightful waiter/waitress delivers it and it's artistically presented.

So is it the participation part of Hot Pot you dislike?

Do you cook for yourself and loved ones big meals or breakfast eggs or only have other people prepare for you, just curious?

Do you enjoy any foods from Asia? Sushi? Ramen?

I like to cook/host, but not often. Yes I definitely love all Asian food.

I think the concept of hot pot is OKAY, but once in a blue moon. Kind of like paint your own pottery and mini golf. But I know people who dine at hot pot places all the time. I can't imagine that.
