I haven't read the entire thread, but just wondering
I have yet to see one sign amongst the signs at OWS that bemoans the fact that the government is handing out billions of OUR TAX DOLLARS and BORROWED MONEY THAT WE DO NOT HAVE to the 'green energy' special interests. Money that has been wasted. Loans that will never be repaid. Loans that were restructured (illegally, from what I understand) so that the investors would be paid long before the tax payer would be repaid once these defunct companies have sold off to pay off the debts. Investors like Al Gore, who benefit greatly from this 'green movement'. His personal wealth has soared since this global warming began. Where is the outrage?
Where is the outrage over millions of tax dollars given to sports arenas that sports teams could certainly afford if the didn't pay their players millions of dollars?
Where is the outrage over companies given waivers to not participate in the healthcare reform? Doesn't the OWS gang see anything wrong with one company being granted a waiver and not another?
Why did they choose to picket in front of certain wealthy person's homes and not others? It seems like the protests are somewhat choosie about which rich person they hate.
I won't get into the political aspects of any of the above, but there are plenty. Both sides do it. It is not right.
