I keep going to disney.go.com and playing around with different trip scenarios. I'll plug in fantasy trips just for kicks. It's especially fun to check out an extended stay at the GF with 10 day tix with all the options and dining just to see what it costs! And then I'll do a more realistic scenario for a long weekend trip. Why do i do this :confused3 ? Just keepin' the magic alive, I guess!

I do that all the time! In fact, I did the exact one that you described once and then found that I could get a great discount (at the time) on the GF! We were going to stay in the Contemporary and we somehow magically were able to stay at GF for just a little more!

Always fun to play, you never know what you might find!

Hopelessly Devoted to Disney! Welcome to the club.

Best wishes.

I do this to. I check for annual passholder discounts all the time. I know they dont change often, but I like to look at the different prices for different resorts.

I also check for annual passholder discounts all the time. Waiting for early May to come up.

I also do this. I find it entertaining and that it does keep the fantasy alive. It also keeps you aware of the "market" prices for trips so that you are better prepared when it does come time to get serious about a trip and actually commit to going to WDW.

I especially have fun with American Airlines vacations package web site. You can get prices on complete Disney World vacations at any of the resorts and add in extras. Not only is the site very easy and straight-forward to use but I also use it to create other fantasy trips all over the place. I have never actually used the site to book a vacation though. I find the prices quite high overall but I do use it as a benchmark.

:bounce: Yeah!!!! I'm not alone. Between my DH (who I suspect checks every night) and me, we are always checking in to see what resorts we can save money on. I wish DW would catch on. Save passholders $$ on the room and we will more than make up for it with goodies. We'll think we're saving $$ and therefore spend more $$ on everything else. Aren't we clever? :rotfl2:

I do this all the time. I am constantly checking prices. There are so many different Disney resorts that I want to stay at. If I do it enough, I actually think I get to experience the different resorts that would take me years of trips to really experience.

I do this too. We bought a piece of the magic, DVC, and so we always have a great resort. But since DVC owners get 100.00 off of an annual pass, we have one of those too. We are taking an extra trip this year this coming Wednesday because of the "what if" playing around. So it might be dangerous!

Yep, LOL. The higest I got so far was a little over 11K. It included everyone I could think of to add on haha. If I ever win the lottery, I'm doing it.

It's fun that is why I do it. I am a Disney Freak though
