Am I the only one staying home this Spring Break??

We usually travel every Spring Break, ours starts the week before Easter. Last year we went to Daytona and this year back to Disney

this is my first year graduated from college so no spring break for me. but i'm glad that i got to take my disney vacation early and not have the spring break crowds.

We're staying home this year. Our budget is too tight for travel any time soon. But it's kind of nice to just hang out.

What did you think of Daytona at spring break? I just changed our reservations out of fear of wild crowds. Our boys are 8 and 6. Good news is we are headed to Orlando so we could make a day trip to a beach.

We're staying home, I don't think I've ever gone away over the kids spring break...mainly because it is at Easter for us. My DH would never go anyone over a holiday and not spend it with his family...even though he complains about having to go to his families get together on holidays.

half of us are staying home, dw and dd went to tampa to work at our sister church on a mission trip, but ds and i had to stay home, him because he's only 4, and me because i got offered work and couldn't bring myself to turn it down, ah, the life of a free-lancer, at least it is lucrative and this weekend i'll be bringing the madness to ya'll, live from dallas, which will be fun as well.

We're not going anywhere this year. And we were thisclose to heading out to San Diego for the first round of the NCAA tournament. It was just too expensive to pull together so quickly, so we might just have to settle for going back to WDW in October to see our new "home" at SSR. *crosses fingers*

BTW, the weather here is CRAPPY! This is the second day of March Break and DS9 started CRYING today because he was so bored! The highlight of our day so far was checking the mail

My kids are off all next week but we're staying home. I'm not big on traveling for spring break & since gas prices have gone up again, it's finalized the decision a bit more.

Boo Hoo!!! I am staying home also. The guy I work with just came back from Africa five weeks ago and is going to the Bahamas next week (he needs to have kids), a friend of mine is off to Mexico the week after next and here I sit.... Feel sorry for me yet??

Not going any where this year. Next spring break 2007 we will be going to WDW.

What spring break? We haven't had one of those here in years! Our school gets off the Day after Easter and that is it.
