I went to Target and JCPenney yesterday and it was packed. Tons of people trying on swim suits and shorts. And I know it wasn't to wear around here! :goodvibes Alot of people were talking about their trips and their plans and it just made me wonder if I was the only person on Earth not taking a trip?

So who's staying home, and who's hitting the road or the friendly skies?? :sunny:

We're staying home. Never have and probably never will travel druing Spring break

We never travel anywhere during Spring Break...we only get Thur., Fri., & Monday off from school.

We go to Disney every May for 9 days...we don't want to face the Spring Break crowds.

We will be home the entire time. I even made DS8 a doctor's appt. for his spring vacation!

I'm staying home and recovering from surgery. Yuck! My poor kids will be taking care of me!

A lot of people are traveling for spring break this year. I'm a corporate travel agent, and we can't get our clients a flight this spring for any amount of money, all the flights are booked solid!!! Doesn't matter where they want to go. Florida, Arizona, even cities in New England, almost everything is sold out.

I'm home. My mom and sister got to go to Naples, Florida during their February break, but now that I'm in college, my break is different than their's. I'll be holding signs for my dad tomorrow at town elections since he's running for selectman, then cleaning his house before his (hopefully) victory party  Wednesday I get to help him catch up on paperwork from his three month business trip. All this on top of recovering from two illness in the last couple weeks.

Yup, it's an exciting spring break for me

Kids are on Spring Break now. We are home taking care of things and are going to take in local sites.

We take 2 Disney trips per year ~ every Christmas (aprox 10 days) & every Easter (6 days). But due to the possibility of us taking a Disney Cruise this year, we will have to give up our Easter week at Disney. :( I can't tell you how sad my DH & I are! We're like kids pouting around the house! We still haven't cancelled our ressies because we are making decisions in waves (one minute we say we're still gonna go & either put cruise or our 6 days at WDW on credit & then the next minute we come to our senses & say we need to give up Easter week so we can afford the Cruise with no credit card debt.) I WANT IT ALL THOUGH!!! I WANT MY EASTER WEEK AT DISNEY & MY CRUISE!! (Where is that 'pouting' smilie?)

Soooooooo......in answer to your question, we'll probably be HOME that week since we're not ones to play with our finances & getting in over our heads in debt over a vacation. Darn it all.... :guilty:

Yep...we'll be right here at home all week! Hopefully do a few fun activities but nothing too exciting!

We don't have a spring break so we aren't going anywhere :teeth: .

I never usually go anywhere for Spring Break, ours here is always the week before Easter. This year I am going to take some day trips though. Go to DC to some museums and the Zoo. Maybe to Baltimore as well.

DD has classes at both the local junior college and the local university. Junior college spring break is this week, and the university is next week, so we won't be going anywhere!

I'm going to Outerbanks Northcarolina with my bestfriend, my mom (dmslush here) and my dad. :cool1:

we are staying home this year. Last year we went to WDW on spring break. Since we can only have 1 person off at a time I couldn't get it off this year. Next year we will go on our cruise though so I have that to look forward to.

My girls have a month off this month from school and my son has a week off next month. Needless to say we don't get to go anywhere.

:sunny: We don't go anywhere on Spring Break as we are on Break
all year long. Saving WDW until may when the crowds are down.
Maybe head to Northern Mi. to see if our trailer is still standing. :teeth:

We're home! Went last year to WDW and Cruise, so this is an off year. We're having great weather (hi 72) so I think maybe we'll hit the Houston Rodeo one day and then just hang out at home. (sleeping in :thumbsup2 )

Well, at least I'm not the only one staying home instead of jetting off to the Bahamas. :goodvibes

We are on Spring Break now but getting a late start because we all came down with colds! We are planning to hit St. Pete Beach tomorrow for a couple of days!
