Just wondering if I'm the only one hoping for another 4/3 deal announcement. We had one booked last year at Coronado Springs and were so excited to have our 1st affordable chance at tix to the parks everyday and staying on property at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately we had to cancel due to husband having spinal surgery. Now that he is "all better" we are wishing for another 4/3 deal.

Anyone else????

No you are not...actually I booked with the 40% off code for BLT but I would love to have the 4/3 deal and I too am hoping that is what's going to be next. Would'nt it be awesome?

I'd rather have the 4/3 deal too, but only as long as it does not require length of stay tickets like the one for this spring did. That cuts AP holders out. Last spring you could get the 4/3 deal with only one day tickets and it beat the AP discount for that time.

BTW- OP- I met the guy who provides "the voice" on the monorails. It was wild because no one in our group realized it until he quoted the door line.

I doubt that they'll offer 4/3. The package discount that they'll offer is going to be free dining because of how well this promotion has worked for this time of year in the past including before the economy turned south.

I believe there's also been a room only discount at the same time in the past and I do expect the same to be true this time. I would guess that it'll be one of the room only discounts that we've seen this year already but this is the promotion I'm not as sure of. I do feel confident that there will be one but I can't even begin to guess at the percents off. I'm hoping for 40% at deluxes so I can change my trip to a split with 3 nights at Poly Club Level at the end of my trip.

I'd be thrilled with FD, but 4/3 would work even better for us. I just want something because we are booked in August at RACK RATE and i can't wait to get something better than that. We booked a mod for the first time, but if reg FD is only for deluxe, we will upgrade. I just want to be settled and know what we are doing for sure. Here's hoping that it will be in the next few days because I can't take the stress of not knowing much longer!!!!!

I'm hoping for the 4/3 deal too. I am currently booked for 6 nights with a pin at a Mod but will be upgrading to a Deluxe today and changing my dates too. The 4/3 deal would be great though because I would love to have 7 whole nights instead of my usual 6. It would work out better financially than my 6 nights at 40% off too.

Yup... got it at a little kiosk outside the gates of epcot. It's a gray shirt with Mickey and the monorail on the front. I don't know how to post picture here... but if I can figure it out I'll post a photo of the shirt.

I honestly wish Disney would offer something completely new....

I find it so funny that for our stay in November the price for the tickets is triple the price for our room stay after discount LOL....They should offer some discounts on their tickets...

Or they should for a limited time allow more than one discount for US travelers like they do for UK travelers.

Then, they throw it to the general public and if in the end they don't get it, they'll open up a 4/3.

So I can imagine the next offer to come out next week will be FD between mid-august and end of sept. Probably for bookings until may or something.

Then it will be extended, and/or a room discount offer would come out. And if it's really bad (which I seriously doubt) then they'll put out a 4/3.

It depends on how are they are now booked. We might not even get an FD offer now...

The economy is worse now than it was a year ago.

FD and all the other promotions are tools to entice travelers to WDW. In September all the school districts have gone back to school .FD is enough to get people to say "we'll take the kids out of school, not fight the crowds and eat for free" so it works. Adding in Aug gets many New Englanders who wouldn't think about heading to Florida during hurricane season to forget about the hurricanes in favor of eating for free and offsets the day travelers who have already started the school year.

As for the original post, I hope for something else too.
