Am I the only Cdn going to Disneyland

We were there in November. You will love it !! Carsland is truly amazing, you really feel like you are walking down Route 66:cool1:

Going in December...went last year for Christmas and want to get another trip to DL in before our Premier Passports expire...

We are going May 1st to the 12th!!

But yes, it does seem this board is much more about going to WDW than DLR - but that is likely because many more Canadians live closer to Florida than California. ;)

ALso, I know many friends and neighbours who fly to WDW from the western part of the country but do not know anyone from out east that goes to DLR.

All our previous trips were flying, but we didn't have kids.
We do plan on flying, or even driving, to WDW in maybe 5 years. This year is DL because the kids are only 3 and 6. We will save the big park until the kids are old enough to really handle the longer trip.

Yes, we have no desire to do WDW until our kids are interested in more advanced rides - right now DLR is just great for them and they are 10 and 9.

When they are teenagers, and we have done DLR a few more times, maybe...

We usually fly out of Buffalo on Southwest....when we flew in December 2012, our flights out of Buffalo were less than half the price that they were out of Toronto.

I would check Buffalo to SNA as well. I am closer to Detroit but it was still cheaper no matter what to a) Fly out of the US and b)into SNA over LAX

Only downside out of flying Buffalo is that there are no direct flights to any of the Disneyland airports. But as the previous posters have said it's cheaper than flying out of Toronto.

We are going there in May ... with 3 other families! It will be great.
