Am I the only Cdn going to Disneyland

I know there is no direct flights. But really our 1 hour layover in Minnesota was perfect to let my boys (14 and 6) stretch and get something to eat.

Well worth it when I paid $265 round trip per person from DTW to SNA...It would have cost me at the time of booking $340 to fly to Orlando !

I also bought in August and didn't leave till November 7th!!!

Good Luck !!!

That's a great price and a perfect length layover too! Our Buffalo options were a minimum 2.5 hour layover and those flights would've only saved us a couple hundred dollars. You know it's a good deal when it's cheaper than flying to Disney World! :)

We're going to DL in August! DH and I went to WDW last Aug.; it was his first visit to anything Disney. I had been once before, but it was before Epcot even existed!

I haven't been to DL since 1992! Before '92, I had been there several times as a kid (I had relatives in N. Hollywood at one time). I have never seen DCL. This will be the first visit to DL for DH and first trip ANYWHERE for his 2, adult, special-needs children. They are DD 19 and DS 22, going on 7 or 8! They are both very excited to see DL, meet some characters at goofy's kitchen, and try some rides (not the roller coasters or anything that spins).

We just came back from a 11 day DLR stay. It was wonderful and very laid back. We bought AP's so we will probably squeeze in another trip before they expire. Maybe for my 50th in September or an escape winter trip in January.:cold:

Grande Prairie!! I am in Fort St John! Nice to meet you, neighbour. :D

This is my 4th time and the kids 2nd time.

We are going to celebrate my daughters 15th birthday. We are all very excited and love Disneyland.

We are also Disney World veterans. We have been going yearly (sometimes more than once) for the last 12 years.

We are also DVC members.

We are planning on going next July.

I am from California so I much prefer Disneyland to WDW. Sometimes I think DS will be the only Ontario kid who goes to Disneyland and not WDW ;)

I will be there in July. Did I not post this here before? Must have been another thread! ;)

July 12 and leaving late on the 16th. Can't wait! My second visit.

We were there last month but only for one day precruise.

We're going in August for the first time as a family.

I've been there only once before as a teenager so I'm sure it'll be like my first time as well.

Can't wait! :cool1:

Woooohoooo!!! We booked again for 12 days in January. I love Disneyland because I can walk everywhere. I don't know if I will ever go to WDW.

What I find interesting after reading the Disneyland threads is that a lot of us who are WDW vets are very nervous about going to DL for the first time. But no matter how many times the DL vets tells us that DL is so much easier to plan that WDW, we are still overwhelmed.

As someone had mentioned in the DL threads, we are so used to overplanning everything for WDW, we don't realize how little we need to plan for DL. I have been waiting for months to book my dining reservations. It's driving me nuts. As well, I am waiting for the park hours to be confirmed (even though historical hours have been posted, I just want to know for sure). My accommodations have been booked and flights as well. Thank goodness for DVC and their constant drive to feed my overplanning addiction :thumbsup2 . However, I did decide to only book the dinners and just walk up for lunches.

Sorry for rambling on...just excited because I can make my dining reservations in a few days!:cool1:

Our trip down to California begins in 46 days, 22 hours, 9 minutes and 5 seconds! We're spending a day at Universal Studios Hollywood, touring the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank as well as the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, attending all 3 days of the Disney D23 Expo 2013 and finishing off with an entire 5-day stay at the Disneyland Resort. This will all take place from August 6th - 17th. It will be paradise! :thumbsup2
