I always play Executive Editor and if a DL, Student ID, or work badge didn't look fabulous...it got shot again. I love all of these pics of me. If it makes any sense, I am much more photogenic than I am in real life...
The only bad part is one night I was at work, I had done four 12 hour night shifts in a row, and this 6 year old grabbed my badge and said, "This don't look like you." Well, duh. I've been up for four days straight and have been playing in poop and blood.
So do whatever it takes to make you feel good. I personally hate unflattering pictures of myself and will make sure they never see the light of day. Vain? Maybe. But I am my own best self-promoter and also my own worst critic.
