Am I supposed to have these things in my 1 BR and AKV?

We are staying in a 1BR at Jambo and we have no clocks. Not even an alarm clock in the bedroom. All the other places I have stayed have them, is my room just missing one or do they not have them here? We also have no kitchen towels, just paper towels.

Also, when my sister stayed at Kidani and she said that they had a sheet that told her all of the animals that could be seen on her safari. Should I have one of those too? Because it would be really cool to be able to know what I am looking at. I know some, but there are others that I would love to know what they are.

Thanks!

Kristine

We have only stayed in Jambo studios, but they have always had an alarm clock, a kitchen towel, and a big laminated thing to tell you what the animals are. I think maybe the last guest may have taken a few "souvenirs". :rolleyes1

We stayed in a 1 bedroom at Kidani in April. We had clocks in the master and next to the sleeper sofa. In fact, they were iHome alarm clock / iPod docks. We also had a sheet to identify the animals on the savanna. I don't remember if there were any kitchen towels besides the paper towels. I would call house keeping and let them know what you are missing. Have a great stay!

Kristine...you should definitely have an alarm clock. Call Maintenance and inform them there is none in your room.

The front desk Guest Services should be able to provide an "animal spotting" sheet for you. The one we had in our room a couple of weeks ago was not laminated...just a sheet of paper but it was helpful and even had check boxes so we could check off the animals we had seen.

Enjoy the trip! :)

I agree! The sooner you let them know the better! You should have ALL items!

The problem with this is that housekeeping often does not do an appropriate check on the rooms. When I was there for two weeks in July, I had a two-bedroom at the Boardwalk. The studio was missing most of its stuff but only because it was in the kitchen. Someone before me must have had a two bedroom as well and used the kitchen/living room. For us it was no problem since we, too, had the rooms. However, had we only had a one bedroom and someone else had a studio, they would have been missing a whole slew of things.

We went down to the front desk before breakfast and gave them our list of things that were missing. I did not want to get charged for stealing an Ipod dcoking station! So we gave the guy at the front desk our list and came back up after breakfast. We did get one alarm clock on the bedroom, kitchen towels, but still no animal spotting sheet. We will just ask when we get back from the parks today. I wonder what else we are missing and just don't know it!

There should be an inventory sheet somewhere in the kitchen or closet. I can't remember if it was in the cupboard or where in Jambo, but there should be an inventory sheet to check.

I've never stayed at AKV. I think at BWV the inventory sheet was on the inside of one of the kitchen cupboard doors. I think it only had the kitchen inventory on it, so it wouldn't have mentioned the iHome alarm clock.

I went on the dvc member website, but it didn't give specifics of what is supposed to be in the AKV rooms. You click on
