Am I paying too much?!

I called and made reservations for April at the All Star Family Suite.

With tax it's 250 a night, does that seem right?

It was 220 a night and two nights were 240 a night without tax.

We have 6 people in our group, but it just seems high for a value resort?

I did call and so far have no 'codes' attached to my name!

You must be going during "peak" season.....the holiday week. Yes I can see it being that much as during "value" season rack rate is $183.

Oh - definitely call back and ask for the AAA rate....they dont ask for your number (or didnt ask me anyway) and if it is worth it you could just get AAA. That is TOO much for me.....even though it is probably correct...

I just booked on Saturday for POP Century and they asked for our AAA Card number. Probably they all don't but our CM did. Just wanted to let you know.

I did call, and the AAA suites for our dates are taken. But I could get two rooms at that rate and it would save me about 350.
She did say I'd need the number to make the reservation and at check in.

I think we will just stick with the suite with the kitchen.

Maybe I'll get a code on it or ticket upgrade, something before April!

Wow! How did you get such a great AAA rate at the Poly?

That figure is c. 25% off of the rack room rate for GV during value season. I didn't think AAA rates could get you that much off. Are you sure you didn't have some sort of special PIN code attached to your name?

We are booked at the Poly around the same time as you (value season, first week of Dec. 2008), with an AAA discount... and received 15% off rack room rate. (Our travel dates are 'blacked out' for the PIN codes I've been hearing about, too.) I thought that 15% was the standard AAA discount for a deluxe during value season?

maybe it depends when you booked with AAA?I booked a 1br villa @BCVwith AAA for Sept and am paying $305/night ....rack rate is $435 per night..I booked in Jan.which was AAA Disney month...
