I was not comparing the dances - I was explaining that dance moves that might seem sexual when performed by an adult are not sexual when performed by a child that does not understand their sexual nature. They are just funny dance moves.![]()
The situations are apples and oranges. If your son's little dance was done up on a stage in front of strangers and posted on youtube, you can bet people would have a lot to say. It doesn't matter if the child doesn't understand the 'sexual moves' because most adults doso that alone makes them sexual. I for one would not want some creep looking at my dd's in a sexual way and it is my responsibility as a parent to try to prevent that from happening, ie. not having her dance like a hoochie in a bikini on a stage in front of strangers.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I promise you, it has gone viral among the pervy set worldwide. These are probably the same parents who buy thong underwear and underwire padded bras for their kindergarten DDs and think it's cute. As for "seeing" or "reading" anything into the dance......Only a blind person would fail to see the inappropriateness of having little girls do a dance in public that is just 1/4 yard of fabric away from being a lap dance.
