Am I getting my hopes up too soon?

My boss just let me know that he has some DVC points that will expire at the end of May. He's not going to use them, and he offered them to me. At first I thought he said he had about 60 points, but he actually has over 600!!!!

Summer break doesn't start until May 22, so I only have that one last week of May that I can book. We're a family of five, so we'll need a 2 bedroom villa. I sent him a list ranking my choices - starting with Hilton Head (which I'm sure will be sold out), then AKV, BCV, WLV, OKW, BWV, SS.

Do you think he'll be able to find me something for that week, or am I getting my hopes up for nothing? I've been so excited all day!

If he looks now, I'm confident he'll find SOMETHING as long as you aren't intent on the Memorial Day weekend.

Although you have your preferences, you are flexible as to what resort you are willing to stay at. I would think that your chances would be good because of that. We will keep our fingers crossed for HHI though!

I think you'll get something. Not all the schools are out yet. We in NH might be in school till June 26 because of all the snow days and ice storm!

Wow..what a nice boss! I'm sure we can all understand not wanting points to go to waste! If it was me and the points were just gonna dissapear anyway I'd go for a three bedroom grand villa..the kids will be spoiled with their own rooms but what a nice treat! Have a great vaca start to your summer vaca...I don't think ours will start till July with all the snow days we have to make up!!!! (Not sure that's really a complaint on my part though..LOL!)

I totally agree, if the points were just laying around, I'd totally go for the grand villa! I've never stayed in one, but I've heard they're amazing.

I'm sure something will be available. If not, those points can also be used to stay at non-DVC Disney resorts.
