The Husband and I are toying with the idea of driving down from the Bay Area and spending a long weekend at DLR Presidents' Day weekend.

I've read that weekends are busy will then Presidents' Day weekend be dancing banana crazy:banana::banana:?

Any insight would be welcomed.:thumbsup2

I think it will be busy, but not awful. Most of the lower level AP's are blocked out, which will help crowd level.

Last year, DBF and I went on the Sunday of Pres. weekend and had a great time. I don't remember the crowds being bad at all. Nothing compared with October and December crowd levels.

If it rains, which at first they were predicting, but now seem to be backing off of that prediction, it will be even less crowded. :thumbsup2

Deluxes are blocked Saturday and Sunday too, not just SoCal APs. It'll probably be busy, but not :banana::banana::banana: busy.

It is never as bad as X-mas holiday time or summer! Heck just go, make a plan and do what you want! :)!!!

Thanks everyone. With it just being me and The Husband I am sure that we can manage just about any crowd level, just not  dancing  crazy  banana crowds .

With the number of threads concerning Presidents weekend, I am starting to get nervous. I hadn't been nervous until I kept reading about everyone else being nervous!!

I suppose if we survived WDW during spring break with the kids - we can survive this weekend. ;) Besides - we'll be in DISNEYLAND! Yay! :woohoo:

It'll be fine. We went last year and it was busy but with the right frame of mind, perfectly manageable.

You will have a great time if your expectations are in the right place.

I'm a bit concerned about possible crowd levels, as well, but we have planned 4 days in the parks starting with Wednesday, so I'm hoping we can get our "must-do" list done the first couple of days, and then anything else we can see or do will just be a bonus! With the FP system available and hitting the parks at opening, I think we will probably be able to do a fair bit, even if it's super crowded.

If it is more crowded during the weekend, do the crowds fall off after President's Day? We'll have our first day in the parks on President's Day but have time in the parks through Friday. I
